Chapter 28

When Harper and Wyatt returned to the packhouse, all the ingredients she wanted were ready. All the vegetables were washed and neatly placed in a bowl on the countertop.

Annie couldn't hide her smile when she heard that the Luna was cooking dinner for the Alpha. She was finally catching a much-needed break.

As soon as Harper entered, Annie immediately laid out her house slippers and took Harper's jacket off.

"Luna, everything is ready for you to cook."

"Got it. Thank you, Annie," Harper replied with a grateful smile. She rolled up her sleeves and strode into the kitchen.

After washing her hands, Harper picked up a knife, ready to start cooking for her husband.

Wyatt listened to the sound of her cooking from his office, but soon, the delicious smell of her food wafted into the air. He walked downstairs, his steps feeling much lighter. It was as if the stress of the situation with Ava had disappeared.

He reached the dining room and looked at the table, smiling with satisfaction.
