Chapter 51

"What does Harper mean? Does she really care so little about me?" Wyatt asked his wolf Elijah.

"Maybe you've lost your charm, Wyatt. I told you that you need to keep up your fitness levels," Elijah taunted in his mind.

Wyatt deliberately reached out and put his hand on Scarlett's shoulder.

"Yeah, it's Jack's last night as a bachelor. We're his best friends, so how could we be absent? Harper's much too tired as it is, so she shouldn't go. I say we go. Let's not get drunk, though.”

Scarlett didn't expect Wyatt to take the initiative to get close to her in front of so many people, and her expression softened immediately. Harper's heart sank as she watched the two of them interact. Meanwhile, Khai stared at her in silence.

Jaylani could see what Scarlett was trying to do as she sat there innocently, and she felt angry on Harper's behalf.

"Khai, didn't you go to college here?” she asked, turning to him. “Show us around and bring us somewhere with good food. I want to unwind."
