Chapter 93

Wyatt reached out and took Harper's hand, pressing her against him.

"We haven't seen each other in a while, Mother. I thought you would miss me." Wyatt looked at Queen Freyja with a grimace. "But you're hurting my mate, and she's the one I love the most. After all these years of tolerating you, you seem to have forgotten that I am the Alpha of the River Bed Pack."

"Wyatt! How can you talk to me like that?!" Queen Freyja hissed. "I am your mother!"

"You cannot order me around like this. I am your child, but I'm an adult." Wyatt also let out a low growl. "The Alpha in the pack has spoken. You should quit trying to exert your authority."

"But I did all this for you," Queen Freyja said, showing her fangs.

"Is that so?" Wyatt' voice was cold: "Do you think I'm the same person that I was six years ago?"

Queen Freyja froze. She didn't understand what Wyatt meant. Whether it was six years ago or not, he was her son. He needed to follow orders and obey her.
