Chapter 79 Confinement

FAYES' POV

This was the first vampire I had killed.

My chest was heaving violently, I lowered my eyes and looked down at the cliff, and the last moment of Norman's plea kept echoing in my mind.

She begged me so humbly not to kill her.

That pitiful and embarrassed posture deeply imprinted in my eyeballs and mind.

The sound of heavy objects colliding came from under the cliff, echoing over and over again, but my heart was unprecedentedly calm.

Conrad would have never imagined that his naive girl would now be able to kill a vampire with her own hands. This powerful girl didn't even hesitate, her movements were so decisive that she didn't seem like a novice.

I suddenly missed the lawn eight miles west of The New Arctic Pack. It used to be my favorite place.

The sun shone warmly on the body, and the grass and trees still had crystal clear morning dew. When stepping on it, there would be a rich fragrance of grass and trees mixed with soil.
