CATHERINE'S POV
On the way back home from the castle, the gazes of the people passing by seemed to have become materialized.
They were surprised and seemed to want to ask me why I left the castle halfway.
When I got home, my parents saw my sudden appearance and put down what they were doing. They surrounded me and wanted to ask what had happened.
But I couldn't say a word.
How do I tell them that their daughter had been disinherited from the throne by the King and driven out of the castle like a stray dog?
Oh no, this was too embarrassing!
“Don't worry about me, let me be alone for a while.”
I pushed them aside, hurriedly ran to my own bedroom, locked the bedroom door, and then fell onto the bed.
Although I had consciously avoided looking at my parents' expressions, I still saw their disappointment in me in the corner of my eye just now.
I really wanted to cry.
But Lasombra's innate pride did not allow me to do such fragile and useless things.
