Chapter 10:Clouded in mystery
The villa was divided into four floors.
The ground floor held a massive reception hall,a kitchen,a tea room and other functional spaces.
The second floor comprised bedrooms,a study and other private areas.
The basement featured an entertainment room with a movie theater,gym and a piano room.
The second basement was a collection room,one for wines and another for artworks and books.
The interior predominantly boasted European decorations, simple yet exuding a sense of elegance. Both the walls and furniture were specially designed, showcasing a unique taste!
Bright strolled leisurely through the villa,now he understood why the affluent loved purchasing villas.
Leaving aside everything else, spacious homes provided them with ample space for activities. Even the bathroom alone was over 50 square meters!
"Money does have its perks" Bright couldn't help but comment,then took a deep breath to calm his excitement.
Meanwhile,on the balcony of villa number 2 across from Bright's,a curvaceous woman sipped wine while glancing towards the opposite side.
"Kelvin,has the property across been sold?
Kelvin Freeman behind her nodded,"Yes miss,I heard a young man surnamed John bought the villa. I've already ordered an investigation into his background".
" Let's hold off on that" The woman said.
"Whoever secured villa number 1 must have quite a background". If we rashly investigate and upset him,it might invite trouble.
Hearing this, Kelvin quickly apologized "I'm sorry miss"
However,this prominent figure has moved in so quietly. It seems overly low-key...
The beauty nodded, remaining silent.
Typically, people who buy villas would celebrate on the day of moving in,inviting friends nd family or even holding a party.
But this person did none of that,being excessively discreet. It gave the impression that he didn't care about the villa at all or perhaps,the villa wasn't worth mentioning in his eyes.
If that were true,the person's power would be terrifying.
Thinking this,the woman became intrigued by the owner of villa number 1 in Bahamas View. She immediately instructed Kelvin.
Kelvin,pay a visit tomorrow and bring a golden pig as a gift.
"Yes, I will prepare for it right away"
The woman nodded and Kelvin left.
Meanwhile, Bright was seated on the sofa, taking a break. Looking up at the crystal chandelier in the middle,he suddenly chuckled.
"I drive a luxury car and live in a mansion,yet when I check my account,I have less than two hundred bucks".
He picked up his phone and glanced at the $117. Thank God the system had paid his property fees for this year or he wouldn't be able to afford to live in it.
Sighing,he repeated to himself "I must make money".
He was a graduate of a prestigious university,skilled in I.T and finding a job wasn't difficult for him. Moreover,he had the 'Trillion subsidies ' app!
Bright got up,took a shower and made a simple meal. As time passed,it was 11:59 PM.
At this moment, Bright was a bit nervous, staring intently at his phone screen.
"I wonder what new items will be available today?" He was eager;what good things could he get today? Once the clock struck 12, Bright immediately began swiping on his phone.
