Chapter 16[Volume 2]

Jon looked at the white room again, two weeks had passed since the Volantis mercenary ship attacked his shores. Arya and Sansa eliminated them, since then Jon dedicated himself to improving the areas of Valyria with the computer.

Improving the markets and businesses, the automatic and manual defenses, the towers, the fields and villages, and finally the area of the nobility.

The boy earned points for every upgrade, for every crafter's creation, for every bit of ore mined by miners, for every vegetable the peasants harvested, for every sword the smiths created.

Jon looked at the computer, he had reached level 25 with 2 skill points. He had opted to level up his swordsmanship as soon as he could, since it would give him the dismember skill which would be useful from the look of it.

He turned around and noticed that Ned hadn't arrived, he was confused, he went to the computer and chose his team ability.

He clicked through to see what it said.

{Waiting for Robb Stark to respond to the invitation.

Would you like to send another invitation?

Yes/No}

The boy pressed no.

He went to frequently asked questions.

{What do you want to know?

Why is Ned Stark not in the group?

Ned Stark has left the group.}

The boy looked confused by that.

'Why did he leave?' he thought.

He sighed and walked away.

He wasn't sure why his father decided to leave the group.

" Perhaps to avoid being distracted in battle? " he muttered.

[T/N: Why do I feel like Ned either left Jon's group to join Robb's or he is dead.]

He shook his head and walked out of the white room to see Arya waiting for him.

"Not again" he muttered.

Arya heard it because she frowned.

"Yes, again" she clarified.

Jon rolled his eyes.

"We already talked about this Arya," he said.

For days Arya recommended him to take Volantis, she did not understand that half of his men were with his father, and the other half was needed here to protect Valyria.

Not to mention that if they miraculously took Volantis, everyone would know about them, and anonymity is their best defense for the moment.

"Jon, listen to me, we just eliminate the bosses, we put Talisa's father as leader and that's it," she said simply.

Jon sighed.

His sister had great abilities but lacked common sense.

"How many times have I told you already? Twenty? Thirty? " he asked.

The wolf frowned again.

"Attacking Volantis is attacking the economy of the slave cities, and the iron bank, what do you think they will do when the slavery money does not arrive?" he informed.

"Well, we take Bravos and the slave cities too," she said.

"And we declare war on the rest of the world?" He asked.

Arya denied.

"No, not to the north," she said.

Jon laughed.

"Oh little wolf, I missed you so much," he said while caressing her head like a child.

Arya looked at him annoyed.

The boy suddenly found himself in the white room and looked around in confusion.

" I couldn't level up that fast," he said incredulously, approaching the computer.

{Your familiar has leveled up!

Familiar Level: 4

Union of senses: Share your senses with your owner}

' that's useful ' he thought.

He remembered that Ghost was with the hunters in the forests of Valyria.

"Glutton, how much prey did you eat to level up? " Jon muttered with a smile.

He left the room.

Arya stood there watching him. Jon sniffed the air.

"You smelled me" Arya muttered, annoyed and incredulous.

"Melon, you ate melon," he said.

Arya blushed upon hearing this.

"How do you know that? Did I brush my teeth? Do I still smell? Answer me! " she said, annoyed and blushing.

Jon laughed and told her about Ghost.

"That's great, if only Nymeria were here too" She murmured sadly.

"We'll look for her when we get home," Jon promised.

Arya nodded.

She told him about Lady's fate and Nymeria's escape during her first days, Sansa and she spent time with Ghost. His wolf was more than happy to receive the girls' cuddles, and he could tell something was wrong.

Arya looked at Jon.

"Listen to me, I know you don't want to go to war, but Volantis won't stop... If they came once it's because they know something's happening, they'll send more ships, until they get fed up and send armies, sooner or later, it'll happen" she said.

Jon sighed.

"They are wolves, I know, and we will respond soon, but I don't have enough men yet," he said.

"We could just take out the bosses and that would be it," she said.

"It's not that easy, she-wolf. Bosses are like cockroaches, they don't die easily and if they do, someone else replaces them" he said.

"They won't stop, Jon," she said.

"I promise you that as soon as we are ready, we will take them by surprise" he promised.

He watched her walk away.

"You have a point," He heard and turned to see Sansa.

"Do you want war, too?" he asked.

The girl shook her head.

"No, but is it possible to avoid it?" she asked.

Jon shook his head.

"They already know we are here, but going to war against Volantis without enough men is not possible," he said.

"But they don't know who's here, right... You, Arya, and I can easily infiltrate" said the girl.

Jon sighed.

"Maybe, but infiltrating is not enough, we can't take on the Volantis triad alone"

[T/N: OH THANK GOD!]

Ned left the twins with his wife, the contract was made, the wedding between Edmure Tully and Roslin Frey was a fact, his wife handled the negotiations quickly and efficiently.

The man was surprised by her persuasiveness, but he knew it was part of her negotiation skills. Cat confirmed that she reached level 3 after finishing her negotiations.

The man did not understand how Catelyn leveled up without fighting, on the other hand, the negotiations with Catelyn could be considered a battle of intelligence.

The man continued on his way and thought about his children.

He had canceled the team with Jon, he didn't want any distractions from the impending war, he planned to ask for the team again after hearing from Bran and Rickon.

He wondered if Robb had reached Winterfell yet.

He had a bad feeling.

XXXXXXXXXXX

Robb looked at Winterfell, it had all been burned, the survivors saw him arrive and approached to tell him the bad news.

The boy couldn't believe it.

Bran

Rickon

He cursed Theon Greyjoy.

"I will kill you, Greyjoy, I promise" he whispered.

The men who arrived with him were inspecting the area.

"There's something strange," one of them muttered to his captain.

He nodded.

He looked at the Stark heir who was kneeling on the ground.

"Don't tell him anything yet, it's better not to give false hope, look for evidence, I want to know in detail everything that happened here" he ordered.

At King's Landing, Tywin looked at Jaime.

"It's a fact, Ned Stark came to the north," said the old man.

"Well, I've wanted to get rid of him for years," said Jaime.

Tywin looked at him coldly.

"I suppose you won't fail this time... On the other hand, he's not arrived alone but with ships and men," he said.

"Allies? Other than the Tullys? Who would be so stupid?" he asked.

"I don't know, but it's bad," he said.

"A couple of men, they don't change anything," the boy said.

"I don't suppose so, unless they join Stannis," he said.

Jaime raised an eyebrow.

"With Renly dead there isn't much choice, but reports indicate that Stannis has asked Robb Stark to bend the knee, and he refused to answer," he said.

Jaime looked at him emotionlessly.

"Robb Stark is not Ned Stark, as long as Ned Stark lives, he is the leader of the north," said the oldest.

"Well that will change soon" Jaime smiled.

"I hope that arrogance of yours works better for you, because the last time you captured Ned he escaped, with his daughters, before your eyes," he said.

The king's guard snorted.

"I'm not a prison guard, my job was to arrest him and I did, now my job is to kill him and I will kill him" Jaime concluded.

Viserys walked calmly to his sister's room.

He looked at her.

"Good morning, Brother," said the girl.

Viserys smiled.

"Good morning, Danny. Beautiful, very beautiful. Getting ready for your wedding" he said with a smile.

[T/N: Ah, I don't know if Danny will be saved this time as the game may just decide that she is an obstacle to Jon's power.]

A young woman sighed as she entered a house in the upper neighborhoods of Volantis, she looked no older than twenty, she had brown hair and dark blue eyes, she had an attractive figure, larger breasts than women her age, a small waist, she was wearing a common dress in the city of Volantis, with a skirt down to her knees and a shirt that showed her stomach.

"Welcome Liz" she heard and rolled her eyes, she turned to see a woman in her forties looking at her with a raised eyebrow, she was tall, fair-skinned, with long dark hair with some gray, and violet eyes.

"You can call me by my real name, Ash, Rhaenys Targaryen, it's not like anyone will hear you here," she said.

[T/N: I thought she died already by this point in the story?]

Ash looked at her coldly.

"Be careful what you say, Liz " the woman clarified.

Rhaenys or Liz as she was called rolled her eyes and ignored her, she reached the patio of the house, on it there was a man in his forties fighting with a young man a few years younger than her.

The man had red hair with a few gray strands, he was shaved, and his eyes were pale blue.

The boy was about sixteen or seventeen years old, as tall as the older man, purple eyes, and blue hair.

"Careful down there, Egg!" the boy got scared and moved his sword to stop a low blow and was hit by a kick in the stomach from the older man, the girl burst out laughing.

"Rhae, you distracted me... No, you lied" the boy clarified, annoyed.

She crossed her arms and with a serious attitude, she said to him.

"A warrior must always be aware of his surroundings," she said, then laughed out loud.

The boy looked at her annoyed.

"You're right, and it's Liz," the man said.

"But Jon, we are alone" the boy clarified.

"Griff" the old man clarified.

Rhaenys smiled in amusement.

"It's not funny...Liz. Don't call him Egg, call him young Griff " said the man.

"Young Griff, I never understood that, why not Griffin or something like that, it's quite confusing to call you Griff and him, young Griff, whose idea was it?" she muttered.

Jon raised an eyebrow and the girl looked back.

Ash looked at her with a furrowed eyebrow.

Liz laughed out loud.

"I see" she muttered.

Ashara Danye sighed and looked at Jon Connington.

She approached him.

"Is something wrong, my lady?" he asked.

"There are rumors in the market, the leader of the elephants is restless, I'm not sure, but we must prepare to set sail just in case," she said.

Jon nodded.

"Okay, get everything ready, just in case"

XXXXXXXXXX

Jon cursed his luck.

How had Arya and Sansa convinced him?

He was already at the gates of Volantis escorting them with two of his men posing as mercenaries.

"Let's go quickly, we're paying you for something" He heard Arya and a funny laugh from Sansa.

Jon bit his lip.

They were really enjoying this.

He shook his head as he saw the gates of Volantis.

Once he left Arya and Sansa with the Maegyr, he headed to the port, and met up with the mercenaries again. He didn't have many allies with them, they were just a group he was in, but some of them were ambitious enough to accept a couple of illegal jobs.

Creating chaos was the first thing done in a war.

He wondered how Ramon, the leader of the mercenaries, was doing. He didn't spend much time with them, but they were kind to him the first time. It's true that he fought to get into their ranks, but that was normal here.

The boy wondered if they would help him, he had enough gold to persuade most.

He walked through the streets of Volantis and then he came across two women in the market, one of them about forty with dark hair with some grey and a girl a few years older than him, a beautiful brunette with dark blue eyes.

The boy couldn't help but look her up and down as they passed, she looked at him too and smiled, Jon bowed his head and continued escorting the carriage.

' Never in my entire life have I seen someone so beautiful ' he thought remembering the girl, he couldn't help but turn to see if she was still there, and she was, she looked at him from afar and smiled when she noticed her eyes collide with his.

[T/N: ah, so he's going to shag Rhae this time.]

XXXXXXXXXXXXXX

"Can you stop doing that?" Ashara asked.

Rhaenys watched the boy escort the carriage.

"What? He was handsome, very handsome" Rhaenys clarified.

Ashara sighed.

' She reminds me so much of Elia ' She thought with a smile.

"Do you like younger guys now?" Ashara asked.

She shrugged.

"I guess I don't have a taste when it comes to age, what about you Ash?" she asked.

"I've never been lucky. I had a couple of suitors in my youth, of course. But I had no luck" she said, somewhat sadly.

Rhaenys hugged her from behind.

"Don't be sad, I don't like it" She scolded her like a spoiled child.

Ash smiled.

But the conversation reminded her of a suitor from her youth, an attractive but quiet man with an inner passion that only she was aware of.

Well her and perhaps her best friend, Robert Baratheon.

Then she blinked, and turned to where the handsome man was leaving with the carriage.

Her face turned pale.

"He was similar, very similar" she whispered.

"Do you like younger ones?" Rhae asked.

"We're leaving" she ordered.

"What?" the girl said confused.

Ashara grabbed her hand tightly and pulled her with it.

"Ouch, what's wrong?" she asked.

"That boy looked like... No, he's identical to Ned Stark in his youth" she said quickly.

The girl stopped her and let go.

"Liz!" she complained.

"Ash, do you know what you're saying? Ned Stark is in Westeros, who was that? His son? Come on Ash, even if there could be spies from the north, do you think he would send his son? " Rhaenys told her calmly.

The older woman sighed and nodded.

"Yes I know, Rae" she whispered.

"But that doesn't matter now, we must inform Jon and Aegon soon, there is something wrong, I can feel it," she said.

The former princess of the seven kingdoms sighed upon hearing her and nodded.

"Fine, but don't hold my hand, it makes us more suspicious, I'm not six" she scolded her.

Ashara Dayne raised an eyebrow.

"Physically or mentally?" She asked.

Rhaenys frowned and looked at her with annoyance.
