Chapter 15[Volume 2]

Jon looked at the white room, a few weeks had passed since Ned left and the boy decided to start organizing all of Valyria, he had given 5,000 men to Ned, who left in the fleet that the man had summoned since he arrived in Valyria, they had also taken a lot of food and gold to pay for the war.

The ships his father summoned were really effective.

They were big.

Strong.

With incredible defenses.

And they drove at speeds that seemed magical.

Jon tried a few to gain experience.

It was as if the wind was always in his favor.

The waters of the sea calmed as the ships passed by.

Jon didn't have much experience with ships but he himself admitted that they would not be matched by anything the seven kingdoms could produce.

Not even the Ironborn.

Not even House Redwyne could match his father's ships.

Their only weakness was that they required many men to operate them.

Clearly, just a couple couldn't handle such large ships.

Although Ned had the power to control them with his mind, that only worked with his ship.

Or at least that's what the old wolf thought.

Jon theorized that it wasn't true and that if he used more mana he could handle multiple ships.

He didn't tell him, he didn't want to exhaust him.

But he thought it was possible.

The advantages in battle were undoubtedly devastating.

Imagine controlling enemy ships in the middle of a battle.

Jon considered it possible, but he hadn't said it yet.

He didn't want to have any hopes of that kind, that if he based his strategy on that it wouldn't work.

Jon walked over to the computer.

Yes/No}

Jon pressed yes.

Jon felt his muscles explode in pain, dozens of images appeared in his mind, sword movements, attack, and defense, the boy let out a sigh of pain and looked at the screen.

{Swordsmanship Level: 4

Cost: 60 mana

The boy left the room and a soldier approached.

"A ship is approaching the eastern shores," he said.

"What? Isn't that where Arya and Sansa are" he muttered.

XXXXXXXXXXXX

Sansa looked at Arya fighting the mercenaries, they saw a ship approaching and decided to fight back when the arrows hit her sister.

She had to pull it out of her leg and heal it. By the time she was done, seven men had left the ship.

"It was true someone lives here," said one.

"So someone builds in Valyria, like they did to survive the monsters," said another.

"Who cares if the information is good?" said another.

A large one saw Arya and Sansa stand.

"Look guys, I thought we wouldn't get a good reward," he said, licking his lips.

The others smiled.

"Life absorption" they heard and the big one fell to the ground, holding back his pain, and then died.

The others watched as their companion died and turned to Arya who stood with her hand outstretched.

"Witch!" they said and took out their weapons.

Arya did not hesitate to run towards them at Sansa's scream.

Arya would not hesitate any longer, what happened at King's Landing would not happen again, not again.

And she stuck her needle in the neck of another mercenary.

He fell to the ground.

An arrow hit her in the stomach.

"Arya!" She heard Sansa scream.

She turned to the nearby mercenary.

"Defend me!" She ordered him.

He looked at her confused and then understood the command and attacked his companions.

Sansa meanwhile went to her sister, took out the arrow, and used full heal on her, she suddenly found herself in the white room, she reached level 11 with 1 skill point and came out to see that Arya's wound had disappeared.

Arya stood up and attacked the mercenary while she controlled the remaining one, stabbing one in the neck while the mercenary fought the other. The girl saw how the mercenary killed an enemy and he seemed to regain his consciousness.

"Life absorption," said Arya and he died.

There were two left.

Arya looked at the closest one and an arrow appeared out of nowhere hitting him directly in the neck. The last mercenary saw where it was coming from and saw a group of soldiers arriving at the place, he tried to flee but Arya hit his leg and he fell.

"Answer my questions" she ordered him.

The mercenary looked confused but nodded.

Jon arrived with the others and they listened.

"Who sent you?" she whispered.

"The chief of the Volantis elephant clan," said the mercenary.

Arya stabbed him in the heart with Needle.

She arrived at the white room and went to the computer.

She had reached level 13 with 2 skill points and left from there.

Jon looked at her.

"Next time leave him alive, we need more information," he said.

She shrugged.

Jon turned to the soldier.

"Prepare to defend Valyria, I want all entry points covered," said Jon.

The soldier nodded.

Ned arrived at White Harbor a few days ago, he had met up with his friend Lord Wyman Manderly who was marveling at the metal-clad ships.

Ned had gained a level upon arrival, for driving all the way from Essos to Westeros, and for destroying a small fleet of Lannister ships waiting in the northern seas, which gave him experience points. He reached level 17 with 3 skill points.

They arrived at Moat Cailin a few days later. Robb and his bannermen welcomed him, and it was then that he learned of his son's mistake in sending Theon, and the consequences of this.

Not only that, but he met Talisa, who apparently became engaged to Robb, he didn't mind at all, he would have preferred an alliance with a big house, of course, but he still remembered the volatine and her help.

He sent Robb to reclaim Winterfell, with the five thousand men he brought from Valyria, and they also spoke privately about Jon and his sisters.

He also spoke to Catelyn and informed her of the truth of what happened, about Menique and his daughters.

Cat told him about the Freys, and his brother's engagement to Lord Frey's daughter, Ned approved and all that remained was to convince his brother-in-law.

Brandon Stark let out a tired sigh from the woods of Winterfell.

He levitated about twenty meters in the sky.

Not to enjoy flying but to see the scene.

He wanted to go back just to be sure they weren't being followed.

Rickon and Ossa were waiting in hiding with the giant Hodor and his two Direwolves.

The spectacle he saw was horrifying.

A man from Theon had just burned two children alive.

Supposedly them.

What had happened to Theon?

Someone he considered a brother.

Why did he change so much?

The war?

Or was it always like this?

He shook his head, he couldn't keep thinking like that.

He had to go back to Rickon.

Go away at once.

To the wall?

Or with Robb?

Those were his options.

" How do you walk, how do you walk " he heard in his mind remembering the crow that didn't let him have dreams.

The boy let out a sigh from the sky and turned around to return to his younger brother.

Tywin Lannister heard the rumors.

Never-before-seen ships destroyed a small fleet left at sea between Essos and northern Westeros.

Survivors said they were moving at high speeds.

They were covered in metal.

They had thousands of soldiers inside.

And they had no flags.

They were heading north.

" Allies or enemies? " he thought.

The Starks did not specialize in nautical attacks.

It was also strange that they had allies in Essos.

Furthermore, none of his informants had informed him of a fleet leaving the shores of Essos since the disappearance of Ned Stark.

Old Lion was attentive to any information.

But nothing arrived.

He hoped that he would die in the ocean.

By pirates or mercenaries.

But no, nothing arrived.

And now a fleet was arriving on the northern shores, with clearly aggressive aims against the south.

' Or against everyone ' he thought.

He couldn't help but have those thoughts.

If they weren't allies of the Starks.

They could clearly be mercenaries and slavers hoping to take prizes from the weakened north.

It would be a pleasure for him.

He shook his head.

Hope is what the weak use.

Wars were won by lions, not by hope.

He looked at the table and saw the map.

Stannis had been raiding the outskirts of the crown lands.

It was annoying.

He did not have enough men to attack the king's landing yet.

"But he keeps bothering me" He muttered furiously.

Olenna looked at the information.

Where would those ships come from?

The fleet that was parked in White Harbour.

Metal boats.

She's never heard anything like that.

Big enough to attract attention.

And if her information was correct.

Thousands of men went down with Eddard Stark.

"He came back with allies, from who knows where" She muttered.

She didn't know whether to curse him or applaud him.

Who would have thought that wolves had allies in Essos?

Nobody ever knew that.

Her information said between three to four thousand soldiers, perhaps more.

Something that would clearly change the war.

Well, that's if the soldiers were good.

But she doubted that Ned Stark would bring weak soldiers to support the North.

Her thoughts went to her granddaughter's late husband.

Renly was killed during an attack.

The information was not very specific.

After an attack by Stannis.

There was talk of black magic and other things.

The old woman still couldn't believe it.

But it was good propaganda against Stannis.

But now her granddaughter was single, without a child to give them the throne.

She snorted angrily.

She wasn't stupid enough to join Stannis.

She could go to King's Landing.

Give the food to the domain.

Perhaps negotiate a compromise between Maergary and Joffrey.

The Lannisters need men and food for the war with the North and against Stannis.

The domain had both.

It was a good alliance.

But she didn't trust Tywin.

She didn't like the Lannisters.

"But they are on the throne, they are the only option" she muttered.

' Are they? ' she thought.

She wasn't sure.

The Starks were a good family.

But could they win the war?

' No, Ned, with all his honor, will not defeat Tywin ' She thought.

And she believed it.

Ned Stark would not give up his honor.

And Tywin would use that against him.

To defeat the lions, the Starks had to be like Theon Stark, a bloodthirsty man feared by enemies from the north to the corners of Dorne.

Even with more men, he wouldn't change that.

' Besides, the Starks have no right to the crown unless they conquer it like Robert did ' she thought.

What if they joined Stannis?

But the old woman doubted it.

His treacherous attack on Renly would earn Ned's scorn.

She sighed thinking about what to do.

They could wait and see how the northern army would react, now that the king of the north was returning.

The old woman stood thinking and saw her son come in.

"Mother, what do you think is better for Garlan's engagement party, Dornish wine or ours?" Mace asked.

The woman sighed wearily.

In Volantis a young woman and an adult woman, both beautiful, were looking at the market.

The youngest one looked at a dress with interest.

The other woman was also looking but her eyes were looking around with some paranoia.

But the youngest was too engrossed in her shopping to notice.

She looked at the merchant and said something to him.

He would take out other clothes and she would give him money.

"Let's go back, I'm not feeling well today" ordered the eldest.

The younger girl raised an eyebrow.

And she shrugged.

"You haven't felt well for years, relax," the youngest told her.

The eldest looked at her with her purple eyes and managed to make the youngest let out a sigh.

"Ok, let's see if my little brother has improved his sword use," She said with amusement.
