[Arena Tournaments]

"Arena Tournaments!" - Shun said without wasting any time.

[DING]

[Please select which tournament the user wants to participate in]

This time, Shun was not transported to another place. He heard the system's notification and noticed that the three screens had disappeared, leaving only a large screen in their place.

[Arena Tournaments:

Bronze Tournament: 115 passes

Silver Tournament: 1 pass

Gold Tournament: 0 passes

Legendary Tournament: 0 passes]

"Bronze Tournament!" - Shun wasn't going to spend his only silver pass without knowing how this worked, so he just selected the bronze tournament.

[Does the user want to spend 1 bronze pass to enter the bronze tournament?

Yes/No]

"Yes!"

[DING]

[The user has entered the bronze tournament of the arena]

[Tournament Rules:

-The tournament difficulty will be adjusted according to the user's Overall in the Bronze difficulty.

-The tournament uses an elimination match format, so it's mandatory to win to advance to the next stage.

-8 teams compete in the championship, and the user needs to win 3 games to win the championship. The level of the opponent slightly increases with each match.

-The user will only receive a reward if they win the tournament.

-The game will be accelerated from the user's perspective, returning to normal time only when the user is batting or defending.

-The performance of the user's team will depend on the user's own performance. In every game, the user will have a chance to win with their own plays, but the number and quality of the user's plays required for victory may vary in each game.]

Shun took some time to read all the rules. He was happy that the game would be accelerated in his vision, a baseball game usually lasted around 3 hours, and he probably wouldn't sleep if the arena game lasted that long.

The boy couldn't help but think that this seemed like some baseball video games and got excited. It was as if he could play a video game with himself as the character, and on top of that, he could improve in real life while doing it.

[Does the user wish to start the first game of the bronze tournament?

Yes/No]

"Yes!" - Shun said excitedly.

[Please select the position you will play in the game

-Right Fielder

-Pitcher (locked)]

"Right Fielder!" - Shun chose the only available option, and as soon as he said that, the empty stadium transformed. The stands were suddenly packed, and the crowd's noise was deafening. Shun could see players wearing blue uniforms and others in red uniforms. He looked down at himself and saw that he was wearing a red uniform.

The boy was in the batter's box, preparing to hit. He could see the opposing pitcher on the mound and the fielders behind him. In the upper left corner of his vision, Shun could see a screen.

[User's Team 0 X 0 Opponent's Team

1st inning, 0 outs.]

"Well, I'll take this opportunity to start that arena mission too. I'll get 10 hits quickly!" - Shun was excited as he saw the first pitch coming his way. He could easily identify the pitch's trajectory with his Hunter Eyes skill.

WOOSH

DING

Unfortunately, he didn't make good contact with the ball and ended up being out on a groundout to the shortstop.

"Out!"

As soon as Shun heard the umpire announce his out, his vision changed. He was now in right field, watching the opposing batter face his pitcher. He saw a runner on first base and then looked at the screen in the upper left corner of his vision.

[User's Team 0 X 1 Opponent's Team

2nd inning, 1 out.]

WOOSH

DONG

Before he could think about anything, he saw the ball flying toward right field through the air. Shun ran as fast as he could, following the path given by his Chase skill.

PAH

He managed to catch the ball easily before throwing it to first base, but the runner had already returned in time. Shun felt his vision change again.

[User's Team 0 X 1 Opponent's Team

3rd inning, 0 outs.]

Shun stepped back into the batter's box.

WOOSH

DING

On the first pitch in the strike zone, Shun again made poor contact, sending the ball directly into the pitcher's glove.

"Out!"

His vision changed again. This situation repeated two more times. Shun tried to hit the ball for a base hit but was out on groundouts all four times he was at bat. On defense, he did well in the plays he had, but since there were only three plays, he couldn't make a difference. His team lost 6 X 1 after 9 innings, but for Shun, only half an hour had passed.

[The user lost the game and is out of the bronze tournament]

The stadium returned to being empty as Shun looked at the large screen again.

[Arena Tournaments:

Bronze Tournament: 114 passes

Silver Tournament: 1 pass

Gold Tournament: 0 passes

Legendary Tournament: 0 passes]

"Bronze Tournament!"

[Does the user want to spend 1 bronze pass to enter the bronze tournament?

Yes/No]

"Yes!" - Shun couldn't give up now, he still needed to win an arena game today, or else he would fail the main mission.

The boy lost two more games without getting a hit. Tired, Shun decided to set aside the arena mission to get 10 hits and focus only on winning a game. In his fourth game of the night, Shun started using his strategy of getting walks by hitting pitches in the strike zone into foul territory.

He managed to reach base every time and stole 6 bases in total. Once he started getting on base, his team began hitting better, scoring 6 runs in 9 innings. This helped Shun better understand the rule that said his team's performance depended on his own performance.

On defense, Shun also did well, but he continued to have few opportunities, only 4 in this game, and his team ended up allowing 3 runs. But it was enough to win the game 6 X 3.

[Congratulations! The user won the first game of the bronze tournament. Does the user wish to start the second game of the bronze tournament now?

Yes/No]

"No!" - Shun was exhausted, he quickly left the arena, returning to his room.
