An old baseball player gets another chance to live the sport he loves, but this time as a system! The son of one of Japan's greatest pitchers has a dream to follow in his father's footsteps and become a great professional, but he has a major problem, lack of talent.
Follow the journey of Shun Takahashi, a young baseball player without talent who receives the old baseball player system. Hellish training, legendary skills, impossible missions, good friends, talented rivals, and maybe luck in love. Shun and the system have a complicated relationship, but they both share the same goal, to be the greatest of all time!
Author here. Well, we've reached 50 chapters in the story, so I thought it would be a good time to do a review. This is the first book I'm writing, so I'm always open to suggestions and critiques. Feel free to ask any questions here. Some important points: - The MC is only 14 years old, so it's normal for him to go through phases where he's arrogant, rebellious, in love... He will mature a lot throughout the story. - This isn't a story where the MC quickly becomes invincible and OP, you can expect a lot of training and truly challenging opponents. - There is romance, but don't expect anything too soon since the MC is only 14 years old. - I intend to develop various different characters, and most of them will have their own journey, so don't worry if you like a specific character and are afraid they'll be forgotten. - The story is a mix of comedy, romance, and slice-of-life, but the main focus is baseball. You can also expect a bit of drama.
A very interesting sports novel. Good use of a baseball system and pacing is commendable as well. My only complaint is with the MC. I find his character very annoying. He feels more like an annoying side character. His friends Kenta or Ren would make a better MC, but that's just my opinion. I hope there's character development.
So far I’m through 96 chapters and I must say it’s really good for the authors first light novel. Minor inconsistencies here and there, but overall a very solid story. The overall quality is even better than some veteran LN authors. Main thing is I haven’t gotten the brain rot from overwhelming plot armor or blockheadead things and poor grammar. Would def recommend to any sports LN enthusiasts.
Very good novel dont drop author. Big potential [img=recommend][img=recommend][img=recommend]
never been into sports, but the system based story got me interested.
good work man keeping going. it pleasure to read this novel
So far so good! I’m really enjoying reading this, following Shuns journey is really fun. He trains very hard & has a real passion for baseball. He’s very young so he’s quite immature and makes mistakes but that’s okay. If anything it’s better that he’s far from perfect as he’s developing as a player and a person all at the same time. I’m interested to see where the story progresses from here on out!
On chapter 50, good writing quality and has a lot of potential. Only one thing I dislike but it’s a matter of personal preference rather than an issue with the story itself. Hope the author keeps it up
