The priest’s voice was grim. "Because they defy the gods. They summon horrors that devour worlds. It is not just power—it is corruption given form."  

A student hesitated. "But could one not use that power for—"  

“Silence!” The priest’s eyes burned with fervor. “There is no redemption for a summoner. And now, they speak of the worst of them all—a Summoner of Shadows. A heretic who will plunge the world into eternal darkness. He is the epitome of evil, and when he rises, he will destroy us all.”

The Extra System: Summoner of Shadows

The ants came rushing at him with their pincers, attempting to rip his limbs apart. Their size, sharpness, and powerful snap made Cedric sure that he wouldn't handle being caught in them. Feather Sword whipped again, but a barrier blocked the attack.

"Another skill?" muttered Cedric with a frown as one of the ants glowed bright yellow. His sword whipped back as the ants rushed at him. Enharis activated, seeing their tiniest movements and predicting their trajectory.

Cedric became a phantom dancing among the ants, evading their strikes at the last possible second. His fists rained, killing the ants one after the other as they rushed at him. He struck the first in the neck.

The second came rushing at him from behind, and Cedric sent a kick to crush its throat.
