What It Was All About

"I have one," interrupted Yaun'dcha as he entered the cabin close behind He'dtaalh. There was barely any room for the six Nycteromyians to be in there at the same time, but there was enough. "What are you doing?"

"You don't need to know," replied He'dtaalh, his face completely blank. "Your men just have to follow orders. Do you think they are capable of that?"

"Following orders isn't a problem for my men," snapped Yaun'dcha, not liking any insults directed at his men. "And they aren't asking. I am."

"And?" asked He'dtaalh, cocking his head to the side. Yaun'dcha had to shift a bit or else risk being impaled by one of his brother's horns. "You don't need to know either. I am paying you well enough for this run."
