However, those beasts are not ordinary beasts. They are divine beings who once stood at the same level, if not higher, than the legendary creatures the world ever knew. 

Casting his gaze to the left, Nathan sees numerous summoners accompanied by the likes of demon kings, archangels, vampire progenitors, and other legendary beings. Turning to the right, a massive army of alien symbiotes is waiting to attack. 

There was no fear in his eyes, because standing on his left is a majestic wolf who managed to kill a god, the legendary eight-headed serpent coils on his right, above him is the bird who is glowing like the sun, and behind him is a dragon that once gnawed the roots of the world tree.

"By the way, what happened in that Bloody Banquet for you to be so fixated on it?" Nathan asked.

Evelyn's expression turned sour the moment she heard that question. "Why don't you ask your teacher about it?"

"Her experience and your experience might differ due to perspectives. I'm just wondering what makes you get fixated on revenge." Nathan shrugged. "It's fine if you don't want to tell me. I don't know what happened, but it must be horrible."

"…" Evelyn thought for a moment. Considering Nathan was helping her with her personal revenge, she thought it would be better to let him know sooner or later.

However, this wasn't the time to do it. She shook her head. "I don't mind telling you, but not now. It's going to be a long story. Maybe after this mission or before the fight against the Divine Hand."
