However, those beasts are not ordinary beasts. They are divine beings who once stood at the same level, if not higher, than the legendary creatures the world ever knew. 

Casting his gaze to the left, Nathan sees numerous summoners accompanied by the likes of demon kings, archangels, vampire progenitors, and other legendary beings. Turning to the right, a massive army of alien symbiotes is waiting to attack. 

There was no fear in his eyes, because standing on his left is a majestic wolf who managed to kill a god, the legendary eight-headed serpent coils on his right, above him is the bird who is glowing like the sun, and behind him is a dragon that once gnawed the roots of the world tree.

Selena raised her wand, pointing it at Irving. "Today, I will kill you and liberate the Ashton family."

Irving gritted his teeth. It was a bold statement coming from Selena. Normally, it would have been impossible, but she might be able to do it if they failed to kill her today.

Something weird was going on as well. Levas, who was supposed to fight alongside them, hadn't come out yet.

'What is he doing? He should have taken advantage of that opportunity to kill her. Our sneak attack ends up failing…' Irving didn't know what to do. On the one hand, they still had three people that could fight against her. On the other hand, Levas was their trump card.

Although he didn't know what happened, it appeared Levas didn't abandon him completely. The fact that his subordinates were still here meant he didn't run away.
