    An eighty year old scholar who has been a fan of Greek mythology since childhood finds himself reborn as the titular ruler of the underworld, the death god Hades after a tragic death. But the gods of Olympus are very much different from what the stories say. He will have to navigate through his new life as a god and prevent a coming calamity...

Reborn As Hades In Olympus

Ch. 192: Indoctrination

I had known for a while now that the burdens of the underworld were never meant for me. Hades merely took the tile as lord of the underworld in exchange for power from Thanatos who was the true god of the dead. Hecate was the goddess of sorcery and souls so it would make sense if she was the right candidate.

Whenever I was out of the underworld she would always be running the place, even when I was inactive she would maintain the peace. It seemed my involvement was not needed.

Hades had been bound to the underworld due to the pact he shared with Thanatos which could not be broken but since his son himself broke it, he was free from the underworld.
