Harper was frustrated, "Nora, do you have a screw loose in your head? He asked you for a divorce, and you agreed. You haven't even finished your IV drip. What if something happens on the way?"
Nora smiled. If she was being foolish, she'd be foolish again. It didn't matter this time. "It's okay. Let me go. I don't want him to think I'm not keeping our appointment. Please."
The pleading look softened Harper's heart, but their relationship was beyond her control. Harper muttered, "You'll see. Even if you're considerate for him like this, he won't feel it."
Nora still arrived half an hour late. Austin, waiting at the door, was impatient, thinking Nora was playing games with him again. With a frown, he coldly remarked, "You're late. I thought you were playing games with our appointment again."
