Be Good, Open Your Mouth & I Don't Want to Sleep with You

"Ahhh, you wretched scum! Mark, I'll make sure you live a life worse than death!"

Storming downstairs and out into the courtyard, Isabelle kicked the car door repeatedly in a fit of rage.

"Damn it!"

She kicked the door again, almost as if she wouldn't stop until it broke.

"Miss Isabelle."

A man's voice sounded behind her, tinged with amusement.

Recognizing the voice, Isabelle turned around, her expression sour as she faced Isaac, Alex's uncle's second son. Isaac always wore a smile, appearing refined and elegant, but something about him made people uncomfortable.

"What do you want?"

She snapped, clearly displeased.

Isaac stepped closer, lifting a strand of her hair and kissing it.

Isabelle slapped him hard, "Who said you could touch me?"

Isaac, still smiling, didn't seem to mind. "Miss Isabelle, you're still as fiery as ever."

He reached out again, trying to touch her hair, but she evaded him, disgusted. "Get lost."

A flash of coldness passed through Isaac's eyes, but he quickly concealed it.

Suppressing his annoyance, he smiled and said, "Miss Isabelle, how about we work together?"

"I'm not interested in you."

Isabelle opened the car door, but Isaac blocked her way. "The bride is missing. Aren't you curious why?"

"What do you mean?"

Isabelle's anger flared again. Wasn't she told the bride had run away?

Seeing she was hooked, Isaac continued, "Alex planned everything in advance, switching the bride on the wedding day."

Isabelle was stunned, her eyes widening.

Isaac stoked the flames further, "You and Mary were both deceived by Alex."

"Is what you're saying true?"

Isabelle roared, her rage boiling over.

"Of course it's true. Otherwise, why did Alex choose Mark out of all the eligible young ladies present? He didn't hesitate to marry him."

Isaac's explanation made sense to Isabelle, and she clenched her fists in fury, "Mark."

Her eyes turned red with anger, her hair almost standing on end.

Well, well, easily fooled. It's true that big chests come with little brains.

Isaac thought, pleased. Good, the dumber she is, the easier to control. We'll pull her into our camp and gradually turn her against Alex.

Blinded by rage, Isabelle didn't notice Isaac's hidden agenda. All she could think about was making Mark suffer and making Alex regret his actions.

"This isn't the place to talk. Shall we move somewhere more private?"

Isaac gestured towards a nearby villa, exuding gentlemanly charm.

Isabelle didn't reply, but she stormed towards the villa.

With a sinister smile, Isaac followed her quickly.

Alex, let's see how long you can maintain your arrogance. We'll see.

Meanwhile, back at the mansion, Mrs. Dupont watched from the curtains as Isaac led Isabelle away. Her eyes narrowed.

The bride's disappearance must be connected to Alex's uncle's family, but what could they gain from damaging the Dupont family's reputation? It might even impact the company's stock price.

Wait, stock price?

Mrs. Dupont's body tensed as she realized the potential consequences.

Could it be that they're trying to oust Alex from his position as acting CEO?

With the old master in poor health and unable to manage the company, this scandal could prompt the board to remove Alex. If the company's image suffers because Alex married a man, the acting CEO position could be revoked.

Panicking, Mrs. Dupont bit her nails and paced, unsure of what to do.

In Alex's room, where he was having dinner with Mark,

Howard took a call, then leaned down to whisper in Alex's ear, "The board wants you to come to the headquarters."

Alex smirked, "They're quick to act."

"What now? Ignore them?" Howard asked.

Instead of replying, Alex picked up a piece of meat and held it to Mark's mouth, resting his chin on his hand with a smile. "Be good, open your mouth."

Mark, quietly eating, frowned and looked at Alex, puzzled. What's with this guy? Can't he just talk business without bothering me?

"If you don't eat, I'll kiss you."

Alex's smile was mischievous.

Mark, irritated but unable to lash out due to taking Alex's money, begrudgingly ate the meat. "Satisfied now?"

"Good boy."

Alex ruffled Mark's hair, ignoring the anger simmering in Mark's eyes.

Mark's heart raced, and his face turned red.

Damn it, why does he keep touching me like this?

Mark clutched his chest, trying to calm down, but his heart wouldn't stop racing. He felt like he was going crazy.

You're straight, Mark. Straight, remember?

Mark took deep breaths to steady himself, but Alex's constant gaze made him want to die.

Damn, he's doing this on purpose to seduce me.

Howard, feeling sidelined and fed up with the display of affection, muttered, "The emperor isn't anxious, but the eunuch is." Used to these antics, he sighed and resigned himself to follow orders.

"Monitor their every move. Don't alert them."

Alex finally turned serious, his tone commanding.

"Already arranged," Howard adjusted his glasses.

"Good, then there's no issue."

Alex put down his chopsticks, took a sip of water, and watched Mark eat, a smile playing on his lips.

Just a little teasing and he's so shy. If I do something more, he'll turn completely red.

Howard brought Alex back to reality, "What about the board? You can't ignore them."

Alex glared at Howard, annoyed at the interruption.

Howard, unfazed, continued, "You're only the acting CEO. If you lose that position, how will you support your wife?"

Alex clicked his tongue, acknowledging Howard's point.

This little guy loves money. If he finds out I'm broke, he'll run away.

Alex tapped the table, watching Mark, who was stuffing his mouth with fried shrimp. Seeing Alex's gaze, Mark thought he was angry about the shrimp.

Mark awkwardly offered the shrimp to Alex, "Do you want some?"

Alex hadn't intended to, but since Mark offered, he wouldn't refuse. He opened his mouth, and Mark, blushing, quickly shoved the shrimp in, then buried his face in his food, ears turning red.

Damn it, Mark, you're feeding another man?

Mark felt like dying of embarrassment but couldn't lash out.

Remember, Mark, it's 1.2 billion. Stay calm. For the money, you can do this.

To avoid being swayed by Alex, Mark used the money as a mental shield, and it worked. He calmed down quickly.

"Don't you have business to attend to? Get to it!" Mark tried to shoo Alex away.

"How can I leave my wife alone on our wedding night?"

Please, just leave me alone.

Mark internally cursed, his temper flaring again.

"Wait, you're not planning to sleep with me, are you?"

Mark realized, his face showing disbelief.

"Isn't it normal for married couples to sleep together? Tonight is our wedding night." Alex was having too much fun.

"Wedding night, my ass! I'm not sleeping with you."

Mark glared at Howard, signaling him to take Alex away.

"He's my boss, and he pays me. Even if he's being shameless now, money talks." Howard remained indifferent.

Mark's anger flared. This secretary loves money more than I do!

His temper rising, Mark realized the two were in cahoots.

Bzz, bzz, bzz… Mark's phone vibrated.

Mark frowned, knowing exactly who was calling.

"What is it?" He answered coldly.

His cousin Grace's voice boomed, "Where the hell are you? It's late. Why aren't you home?"

"I told you I was attending a wedding. Didn't Uncle tell you?" Mark's tone remained cool. Grace's yelling was something he'd grown numb to over the past decade.

Since his parents were often away on business, Mark had lived with his uncle's family, where he was treated poorly, shouted at, and used as a servant.

To avoid worrying his parents, Mark silently endured it all, swallowing his grievances.

"Attending a wedding all day? It's dark already."

"Hurry home, there's no bath soap left. Go buy some now."

Her tone was commanding, as usual, a routine Mark was all too familiar with.

Mark wanted to say he wouldn't be coming home, but Grace hung up before he could speak.

"Would it kill her to let me finish?"

Mark fumed, tempted to smash his phone but refrained to save his money.

Alex, watching silently, knew Mark lived with his uncle and wasn't treated well.

Having had Howard investigate thoroughly, Alex knew all about Mark's family situation.

"If they're bothering you, I can get rid of them," Alex offered.

Mark stared at Alex, "What do you mean?"

"The person who called was disrespectful. I can teach her a lesson," Alex smiled.

Mark was tempted but knew Alex wouldn't help for free. "What do you want in return?"

"My wife is indeed smart," Alex clapped, then shamelessly smiled, "Just sleep with your husband tonight."

"Are you insane? Get lost." Mark roared.

Damn it, I knew he'd say something like this.

Mark felt crazier, imagining something inappropriate, making his face turn red.

Damn, am I losing it? That's R-rated stuff!

Mark covered his face, too embarrassed to show it.
