Raditz, Nappa, Vegeta! (Part 1)

Planet Dadala

Under the onslaught of Vegeta, Nappa, and Raditz, the native inhabitants of the planet were completely annihilated. Their mission was officially completed.

At the moment, the three of them were sitting together around a campfire, roasting the meat of some unidentifiable creature.

Just the three of them?

That's right!

There had originally been another Saiyan on their team, but over six months ago, during an invasion of a high-level planet, that Saiyan was ambushed and killed.

Ironically, the one who should have died was Raditz.

It was because this elite Saiyan had saved Raditz that he ended up losing his life in the process.

"This is so boring! Three planets in a row, and all of them the lowest-level! Completely worthless!" Nappa growled in anger, gnawing on the food in his hand.

He was furious. After all, the lower the target planet's level, the less lucrative their rewards were.

Not to mention, being warlike, they found no thrill in facing enemies whose power levels only ranged in the tens or hundreds.

"There's nothing we can do about it; after all, it's Lord Frieza who assigns these tasks to us from time to time..." Raditz said nervously from the side.

Ever since the death of that elite warrior, combined with the experiences of the past year, Raditz was no longer the same person.

Due to his weak strength, Vegeta and Nappa had nothing but disdain for him, viewing him as a burden.

Sometimes, their conversations would even devolve into complaints about how a valuable warrior had died, leaving behind a trash upper-level Saiyan with no potential.

The Saiyan squad was effectively led by Vegeta and Nappa, with Raditz reduced to the role of a low-class warrior, forced to obey their every command.

The dirtiest and hardest jobs always fell to him. His main task was to clean up after the battles.

This vicious cycle left him with no way to improve his strength, causing him to fall even further behind Vegeta and Nappa.

Raditz was painfully aware that if it weren't for the fact that there were only three Saiyans left, they wouldn't care in the slightest whether he lived or died.

The pride and dignity he once held as a Saiyan had been obliterated alongside the explosion of Planet Vegeta.

After enduring merciless ridicule, he gradually realized that his previous standing was entirely due to his father, Bardock. Others had only treated him as a potential seed to nurture because of Bardock's reputation.

Without his father's protection, he had been reduced to an insignificant trash.

"Raditz, if you were slightly stronger, we could just leave missions like this to you. That would save us the trouble of wasting our time here," Nappa scoffed, his breath stinking.

Angry at his own middling strength—not as good as Vegeta, and having to serve Vegeta—Nappa wished he could dump these missions onto Raditz. But Raditz's power level was only 900!

From last year to now, Raditz's power level had barely improved at all.

Raditz felt like crying and he even wanted to die, but he couldn't refute.

Across from him, Vegeta ate his roasted meat in silence, observing the situation with cold indifference.

He had no need for useless dead weight, especially someone like Raditz, who would only slow him down.

However, Vegeta didn't voice his thoughts. After all, the Saiyan race was down to just the three of them. Having one more person was still better than none.

"Hmm?! What's that?!"

At that moment, Vegeta abruptly looked up, noticing a fiery streak in the sky.

"It's a spaceship descending rapidly. Where is it from?" Nappa and Raditz stood up, also turning their attention to the sky.

As the flames subsided, the general shape of the spaceship became visible.

It looked both unfamiliar and somewhat familiar to them.

The design resembled the large spaceship used by the Frieza Force, but it wasn't one of theirs.

With a loud hum, the spaceship descended, shaking the ground as a strong gust of wind swept out in all directions.

The spaceship landed steadily in an open area not far from Vegeta, Nappa, and Raditz.

"Is it a new model? Why come to this planet?" Nappa muttered to himself as he stepped forward.

Normally, since they are also from Frieza Force, they should know that invading this planet is their mission, and the completion of the mission has already been reported.

Vegeta's expression turned serious. He spat out a piece of chewed meat and pressed the button on his scouter.

As the scouter beeped repeatedly, it quickly detected three life signals.

"1 Power level, 1000 Power level, 3000 Power level," Vegeta announced, his expression shifting to one of disdain upon realizing the newcomers posed no threat.

He hadn't seen them yet, but he and Nappa assumed the same thing—that this might be a new model of spaceship, likely belonging to a logistics crew coming to take over the conquered planet.

As the ship's hatch opened, three figures stepped into view of Vegeta, Nappa, and Raditz.

Without a doubt, it was Talot and Salari, who had come to find Raditz, along with Tights.

The moment Raditz saw Talot and Salari, his face was overcome with disbelief.

Though it had been two or three years since they'd last seen each other, the appearance of Saiyans remains largely fixed from birth; even if there are minor changes, they are certainly not drastic.

"Talot! And Salari!"

Raditz shouted their names in excitement.

This startled both Nappa and Vegeta, who each mumbled, "Saiyans? The names sound vaguely familiar."

Seeing Raditz for the first time in nearly three years, as well as Vegeta and Nappa nearby, Talot and Salari leaped down from the spaceship and approached Raditz.

"It's been a while, Raditz. You look like you've been having… quite an ordinary time," Talot teased with a smirk.

Raditz's eyes turned red with emotion, and he was momentarily too excited to speak coherently.

But soon, anger bubbled to the surface, and he punched Talot hard in the chest. "You b*stard! If you were alive all this time, why didn't you show up until now?! And Salari—three years! You're both alive… that's such a relief."

Talot was his brother—Raditz had long since acknowledged that.

As for Salari, they had grown up together. Despite being a low-class warrior, Raditz had always considered her to be Talot's woman.

Saiyans were naturally straightforward, emotionally mature from a young age. Once they made up their minds about something, it was unlikely to change.

"Raditz, aren't you going to introduce us?" Nappa stepped forward, looking Talot and Salari up and down.

To them, Nappa's burly physique loomed like a small mountain.

"Nappa, they are like family to me. Talot grew up with me since childhood, he is also an upper-class warrior. Salari, although a low-class warrior, her power level at birth was not low." Raditz took the initiative to explain, at the same time he said to Talot and Salari, "This is Nappa, a distinguished elite of our Saiyan race! I've told you about him before, do you still remember? Talot."

Hearing Raditz's words, Talot and Salari gave only slight nods, showing little reaction.

Knowing the original storyline, he naturally knew who Nappa was.

Raditz had indeed mentioned that Nappa's power level was high.

"Hahaha! This is perfect timing! We've been short-handed, and now we've got you two kids joining us! We Saiyans haven't gone extinct yet! Especially since there's a female Saiyan, and she's not bad-looking either. Although her genes are a bit inferior, she'll do just fine for giving birth to future generations." As he said that, Nappa's full attention turned to Salari.

His lecherous smile made it painfully clear what he was thinking.

A low-class female warrior, isn't that just someone used for mating and reproducing?

With the Saiyan race nearly extinct, a single woman now carried the weight of their race's revival.

Though Salari was still young, she'd mature in a few years.

Nappa's blatant gaze and crass words made Talot frown deeply, while Salari burned with anger at his disgusting remarks.

"My woman is not someone you can touch!" Talot's voice was icy, his eyes glinting with killing intent. His sharp words made Nappa pause for a moment before he let out a sneer.

Hearing Talot's declaration, Salari felt a wave of security envelop her, filling her heart with an unprecedented warmth.

For the first time, Talot had openly declared her as his woman in front of others!

"Hmph! So, your name's Talot, huh? Even if you're an upper-class warrior, don't forget who you're talking to. I'm an elite-class warrior!" Nappa continued to mock without restraint, and then he wanted to show off through Raditz, saying, "Raditz, tell your relative and let him understand that there is a difference between an upper-class warrior and a prestigious elite!"
