Chapter 10 Thirty Minutes for Different Positions

Shi Jingzhou had spotted Qiao Zhiyi from afar, wiping the corners of her eyes as she walked out.

She opened the car door and sat inside, those tear-reddened eyes even more glaring.

"Complained to your mom?" Shi Jingzhou asked her coldly.

Qiao Zhiyi quickly shook her head, "No."

"Then why are you crying?" Shi Jingzhou frowned, feeling irritated.

"I... got sand in my eyes," she lowered her head.

Shi Jingzhou snorted, "Clumsy."

Once back at home, Qiao Zhiyi went straight to her room.

Shi Jingzhou looked at Zhou Zheng, "Go check what she was crying about."

"But you..." Zhou Zheng looked worriedly at his back.

"I'm telling you to go," Shi Jingzhou said sternly.

Zhou Zheng had no choice but to obey and leave.

Qiao Zhiyi was washing her face in the restroom. Seeing her eyes redder than a rabbit's in the mirror, she was also startled.

Suddenly, there was movement at the door. She turned around and saw Shi Jingzhou leaning against the door frame, his deep and sharp eyes staring straight at her.

His gaze reminded her of a wolf.

The next second, he would pounce.

Qiao Zhiyi tensed up, her mind flashing through countless scenarios.

If he pounced, how could she resist? Could she even resist?

Shi Jingzhou stepped in, hooking his foot to shut the door.

The restroom, less than twenty square meters, seemed excessively cramped with him there. He stepped closer, forcing Qiao Zhiyi to retreat step by step until her heel hit the bathtub and she leaned backward.

Her hands flailed in the air, her pupils dilated.

The next second, a tight grip on her waist and she was suddenly pulled up.

Panicking, she plunged into that solid embrace. Her nose smashed into his chest, the pain bringing tears to her eyes.

Her waist was tightly grasped, her body forced against his. Looking up, she met those inscrutable dark eyes, her heart fluttered in chaos.

The air seemed to have solidified, time appeared to have stopped.

All she could hear were her own heartbeats and breathing, so anxious, so cluttered.

Swallowing nervously, she dared not move as he did not let her.

Suddenly, Shi Jingzhou leaned closer, his face slowly enlarging before her eyes.

Qiao Zhiyi's heart pounded furiously, not knowing where the strength and courage came from, she forcefully pushed him away.

Shi Jingzhou's back slammed hard against the wall, a muffled groan escaping, his face suddenly paled, and thin sweat appeared on his forehead.

"What's wrong with you?" Qiao Zhiyi sensed something was amiss.

Shi Jingzhou pursed his lips, his eyes clouded with a layer of ruthlessness, the overly oppressive aura making Qiao Zhiyi want to flee.

"If you dare to run, I'll break your legs!" Shi Jingzhou threatened.

Qiao Zhiyi controlled her rising foot.

She bit her lip, fear burgeoning, not daring to look at him. She just stood there, unmoving, in a tense standoff with him.

Shi Jingzhou slowly unbuttoned his shirt, took off his clothes, revealing his muscular torso.

Qiao Zhiyi glanced only once before quickly lowering her head, her toes nearly curling through the floor.

It was unbearable.

She doubted she could suffocate to death.

Shi Jingzhou threw his clothes on the ground, landing right within Qiao Zhiyi's line of sight.

That white shirt surprisingly had bright red blood, unbearably glaring.

Qiao Zhiyi was shocked, and raising her head, she saw Shi Jingzhou sideways, with a nearly ten-centimeter gash on his back, still bleeding.

Shi Jingzhou, shirtless, sat on the toilet, casting a cold glance at the starstruck Qiao Zhiyi, "What are you staring at? Aren't you a doctor?"

Qiao Zhiyi came to her senses, immediately ran out of the restroom, and fetched the medical kit.

Her heart was in turmoil, but she still calmly treated his wound. The disinfectant sprayed on the wound, blood flowed down his back, making her tremble with fright and ache for him. The wound was not only long but also deep.

"You need stitches," Qiao Zhiyi's voice trembled.

"Stitch it."

"But there's no anesthesia."

"I don't need it."

"This..."

How could such a long wound be sutured without anesthesia?

Shi Jingzhou was irritable, "Hurry up!"

Under his urging, Qiao Zhiyi threaded the suture needle and looked at the wound, her hands trembling.

After the first stitch went through, she saw his back muscles twitch.

Sewing without anesthesia, anyone would be in pain.

She clenched her teeth and quickly finished stitching him up.

Not until she cut the thread did she breathe a sigh of relief. Her forehead was ice cold; she wiped it with the back of her hand, all sweaty.

She dressed his wound again, wrapping the bandage around his chest. Her fingers accidentally touched his chest muscles, and she quickly withdrew them, then cautiously checked his complexion, inadvertently meeting his eyes and quickly looking away.

"It's done." She tidied up the materials without glancing at him again.

Shi Jingzhou stood up, "What do you want?"

"Ah?"

"You performed well today, what would you like as a reward?" Shi Jingzhou repeated impatiently.

Qiao Zhiyi shook her head, "I don't want anything."

Just being able to live well under his command was enough to make her grateful.

She only hoped that he would remember her contribution today and not make things too difficult for her in the future.

"Sleep with me." Shi Jingzhou grabbed her hand and pulled her along.

Qiao Zhiyi panicked.

She struggled, "I..."

"Don't think that just because I'm injured, I can't do anything to you." Shi Jingzhou threatened, "Get into bed, sleep."

Under his fierce gaze and threat, Qiao Zhiyi obediently got into bed.

Just as Shi Jingzhou was about to lie down, Qiao Zhiyi quickly reminded him, "You can't lie flat."

"Then how should I sleep?"

"Lie on your stomach." Qiao Zhiyi answered softly.

Shi Jingzhou narrowed his eyes, "On my stomach?"

Qiao Zhiyi cautiously nodded.

Suddenly, she felt a heavy weight on her, as if a mountain was pressing down on her.

She was shocked.

"Only like this on my stomach, do I feel comfortable." Shi Jingzhou saw her panic but didn't regard it seriously, "Better not move, otherwise I can't guarantee what I might do."

Qiao Zhiyi: "..."

She felt like she was going to suffocate.

But the man showed no intention of getting off, completely placing his weight on her.

Qiao Zhiyi held her breath, desperately wanting to push him off.

"Can't even endure a few minutes?" Shi Jingzhou suddenly opened his eyes, his gaze somewhat mocking, "What will you do for half an hour, an hour?"

Qiao Zhiyi didn't understand what he meant, her expression somewhat dull.

Shi Jingzhou eventually relented, turned on his side, flipped her over, and held her from behind, letting her shrink completely into his embrace, "I forgot, we can change positions every thirty minutes. This way, it's quite nice."

Qiao Zhiyi's ears were surrounded by his breath, her neck feeling slightly tingling and itchy.

She finally understood his insinuation.

The temperature on her face instantly rose, she felt her blood boiling, ready to burst through her skin.

How could he do this?

Qiao Zhiyi couldn't sleep at all.

True to male nature, this saying was indeed true.

Even someone who appeared so cold usually showed his rogue nature in such matters.

Listening to the steady breathing in her ears, Qiao Zhiyi's mind was filled with many indescribable things.
