Morgan's POV

As we walked to the lab, we kept talking. Mostly him doing the talking while I, doing the questioning. We talked about the hospital, and how he happened to be the owner of such a big hospital at such a young age.

"Really? How old do you think I am?"

I laughed, looking at my shoes, and then back at him. "I don't know." I finally said.

"Take a wild guess."

I looked at him trying to figure out how old he could be, but I couldn't come up with anything. I had been calling him young, and he sure looked young, but how young was he?

"Twenty seven? Or twenty eight I guess." I said with a shrug.

"Nope, wrong." He said with a smile. "Think again."

After two more failed attempts, I finally have up. I wasn't that much of a genius anyway, except when it came to business deals and evil setups.

"Twenty six." He said, dropping my jaw.

"Twenty six? I was this close." I said, making a tiny hole with my index finger and my thumb. But he sure was young. A CEO at age twenty six? That was crazy!! Like I was one to talk. How old was I anyway.

"Let me guess your age then." I said cutting me out of my thoughts. "Let's say...twenty... something?"

"I out a lot of effort into guessing yours, don't I get to deserve that same effort?"

"You do, a whole lot. Let's say twenty two?"

"Hmm,"

"Am I far away from your real age or close?" He asked as we were bearing the lab.

"You know," I said in a whisper. "It's rude to ask a lady her age."

"My apologies."

"You're forgiven. But don't worry, I'm not a hundred year old woman."

We both laughed at the joke. I won't tell him he had guessed it right though, that's for me to know.

We got to the lab and walked in, and then he left after having a little talk with the doctor that was meant run the tests. The doctor, doctor Mayfield, ran some tests on me, a couple tests.

"And we're done miss Rosewood. I would love you to wait a few minutes outside the laboratory, for your test results." I nodded, and headed out.

Outside, Winston was no where to be found. Should I say I felt a twang of disappointment or was it hurt. Why did I feel like he was supposed to be waiting for me outside the laboratory. What was my problem?!

I sat on the seat outside the laboratory, waiting for my test results, while looking at the way we came to see if Winston was coming. And each time I'd catch myself doing that, I'd get angry for being a fool.

"Miss Rosewood?" Dr. Mayfield called. He walked out of the lab, holding my test results in his hands. I looked at him, and got up from them seat.

"So?"No asked looking at him.

"I think you should take a look." He said handing me the result. It was a bunch of jargon I couldn't understand. "What does this say?" I asked looking from the result to him.

"It says that you are perfectly fine, except, you are stressed out. " He said with a half smile.

"Oh." Where the only words I could form.

"But you look really stressed out. Was there anything that happened recently that pulled you out of your normal state into a state of anger or something like that...?"

"Damn." I said, running my left hand through my hair with a scoff.

"Pardon?" Dr. Mayfield asked, not hearing what I had said.

I knew that no matter how difficult work was, that I couldn't just try to pass out. And now, I couldn't even believe that the reason for all of my stress was Dante and Nova showing up. Wow!

And just like that, all the fun moments I had had with Winston wilted away. Left in its place was anger and hatred.

"Morgan?" Winston called, snapping me out of my trance. "What's wrong? Are the rest results bad?" He asked looking at the result in my hands. "It's just stress." He said picking his words, one at a time.

"Yeah, just stress."

"If you'll excuse me." Dr. Mayfield as a nurse came looking for him.

Just stress indeed. I could only see the faces of nova and Dante, in front of me at the fundraiser. What a nice thing to do Dante! Walk into the life the same way you walked me out. I shouldn't have come here in the first place. I turned to leave, forgetting that I was with someone.

"Are just going to leave like that?"

"I'm so sorry." I said turning back, my senses coming together. "I forgot that I was with someone."

"You must have a lot on your mind. It's way past lunch." He said looking at his watch. "But are you hungry, we could grab something to eat."

I was about to say no, then I remembered how long I had been saying no for. And perhaps I hadn't even had lunch.

"Sure." I replied with a smile. He led me to a restaurant that seemed... Scratch the word seemed, was fancy. We took the table close to the window while the waiter came and took our orders.

"You eat here often?" I asked him when the waiter was out of earshot.

"Not that often." He replied. "I only come here on special occasions."

"Don't." I warned with a playful tone.

"Don't what?" He asked as innocently as he could.

"Flirt!" I sad laughing.

"Fine, I won't." He said raising his hands. The waiter returned, serving us our food. As we ate, we kept in talking about random things, laughing and cracking jokes that the other would laugh at. It was really fun to be around Winston. By the time we were through, it was about 7:48pm.

"Heading home?" Winston asked.

I looked at him like he had asked a crazy question. "Where else would I be headed to?"

"Sorry, that was lame." He apologized. "Oh! That's right, you didn't even ask about Molly." He said with a sad face.

"Our imaginary dog?" I asked laughing.

"Just because it's imaginary, doesn't mean that we have to neglect it." He said with a smile.

"Okay. So how is it?" I asked.

"Well fine, it broke it's right leg." He said with a sigh, my smile disappeared.

"What?" I asked looking at him. "It broke it's right leg? And you are sure it's the right leg?"

He looked puzzled. "Well... I said right leg because that's what car to my mind just now. So should I say left? Was it left?" He asked laughing. "Whatever, it's just imaginary. I'm going to get a dog soon and I'm going to name it Molly." He said with a tone of finality. "Maybe then, you can come see it."

"Sure " I said, taking out my car keys. "I'll... See you around " I said before getting into the car.

"Sure. See you around then." He said with a wave. I waved back, kicked my car into ignition, and headed home.

Strange, Molly was playing with Cole, and broke it's right leg last night.
