The Extra Seeks Chaos
Eric Langley, an eighteen-year-old boy whose parents passed away three years ago, had no known relatives and was left to fend for himself. To support himself, he worked in a bakery, using his earnings to cover his daily needs and indulge in his favorite pastime—reading chapters of the novel "Humanity's Strongest Mage," which had recently gone on hiatus.
Eric had a love-hate relationship with the novel. While he was captivated by its world, he despised the Protagonist, Alex Whiteheart. Alex had it all from the start: strength, fame, money, and of course, a harem. He never faced any real challenges, effortlessly overcoming every obstacle, which made the story lack something Eric craved....... Chaos.
One evening, while taking a walk with his headphones on, Eric was lost in thought. The music drowned out the world around him, and he failed to notice a car losing control and speeding toward him. The last thing he heard was a screech before everything went dark.
When Eric woke up, memories flooded his mind, and he quickly realized something was wrong. He wasn't in his own world anymore; he had somehow ended up in the world of "Humanity's Strongest Mage." To his shock, he found himself in the body of Arin Vale, an insignificant character never mentioned in the novel—a true extra.
Now, armed with the knowledge of future events and driven by a desire for chaos, Arin had one goal: to disrupt the smooth journey of Alex Whiteheart, the Protagonist. He was determined to introduce Chaos into the story, making it far more interesting than it ever was, and in the process, he'll also find out that there's more to his character than just being an Extra.

Well I don't usually write reviews, but I think this novel is worth that much to even force me (a lazy novel reader) to write this review. well let's get straight to the point, this novel is certainly very good, author literally didn't miss anything be it action, fantasy, romance, adventure, world building & the unique style of story telling. the things I love most about this novel is, how writer built up a certain scene to make suspense , then in the next second reveal something. then, you will think what the actual f*** happened yeah it was that mind blowing twists. after reading 75 ch you will think you understood the plot but after reading some more chapters you will literally question your self...... that type of plot twists & revelations are awaiting for you . now that I have told you about the strong points of novel, now let's talk about something which can be improved in future, well this is more like request to author though 1) If author mention Arin past life moments in future chapters, it will be really helpful for readers to connect with him more 2) the og mc is really overpowered, but it's a good thing because the more the difficult the trial become, the more strong our MC will be to overcome them but he certainly needs certain power ups like hidden elements (Time, Space, Gravity) & Anti Element (Void) to make the battle more intense in future plots 3) finally it's just my personal wish but I really don't want Tessa or rather any girls who are part of Alex harem to become the Fl. it will just feel wrong like mc built a hollow relationship with them. so other than them anyone is good (Riya & Lina are good choices because how they care about mc) 4) add more comedic scene & knowledge about the kingdom, world of mc well that's it ....... I think I really wrote quite a long review but well, if author saw this I just want to tell you the novel has potential, so keep up the good work . thanks for writing such a good Novel 👍

This novel is quite enjoyable. The characters are well developed, and the world-building is impressive. The only downside is that the upload schedule is a bit inconsistent. I really enjoy this novel and would recommend it. 4.8/5 stars

Good story and the plot is very interesting. The MC is not like the others that try to act like a goody two shoes but acts based on what he wants. Also the writing quality is excellent so don't worry about that.

I just started reading today, and read most of the available chapters. The characters are well done and respond in reasonable (for fantasy) ways. Three of the 5 (6) senses are well described, but I would like more of the others, particularly smell. There are plenty of hints that there is a great deal more to the story, which I rather appreciate, and there is a good backstory without getting into the weeds. overall, I am here for it.
not really good at reviewing stuff but i had to say it i really like the concept but reading this whole thing feels so cringe especially his interaction with tessa i couldn't read more. maybe im just too old for this shi (im 22 btw)
So, I’ll be frank, the early chapters are quite painful because the MC is just a gigantic loser. For a while he seems like a genuine villian more than an antihero, but…it does swap over. However, if you’re like me and you really dislike villains, then the story up until the part that it become clear will be full of suffering….however, the protagonist is a genuine piece of shit, so maybe knowing that will help you a lot. I would’ve benefited a lot knowing that. However the biggest sad part is that it’s non-harem, which means there’s a lot of potential likelihood for love triangles and frankly I’d rather staple my eyes even considering the possibility However the author is doing pretty good work here, maybe give it a try.
This review is a wee bit about the story but mostly about the author. Firstly, I have NEVER read a story with sooooo many free chapters (RESPECT 💜). The average range (I’ve seen) is between 20-30 free. I won’t even read if it’s less than 20 because the world/chapter build generally isn’t enough. Secondly, the author is very interactive and engaging when responding to comments. I hate to read a story in which a reader has questions/concerns and, months/years later there’s no response from the author. The mc is a villain but very likeable. He’s strong and all about self growth without being a total azz. The mc is not stupid (repeatedly making the same mistakes) and doesn’t not suffer from “pretty girl syndrome “. The storyline is strong and interesting. I strongly recommend this story and author!
