The sun dipped below the horizon, painting the Seoul skyline with hues of pink and orange. Kang min jun leaned against the balcony of his apartment, his mind drifting back to the encounter that had left an indelible mark on his heart. The elegant, graceful lee soo jeon had been a vision of serenity and strength, a stark contrast to the bustling city around them.
Min jun ran a hand through his dark brown hair, now tousled from a days work. He pulled out his phone, scrolling through his contacts until he found her name. His finger hovered over the call button, but he hesitated. What if she is busy? What if she didn't want to hear from me? Yet,the memory of her gentle smile and soft gaze urged him on. He took a deep breath and tapped the button.

Across town, in a cozy apartment filled with the soft melodies of classical music, soo jeon twirled gracefully, her movements fluid and precise. Dance had always been her escape, a way to lose herself and find peace. But today, her thoughts were elsewhere , a lingering on a certain architect whose warm eyes and kind demeanor had stirred something deep within her.
She paused, breathing heavily, and wiped the sweat from her brow. Glancing at her phone resting on the table, she wondered if he thought about her as much as she did about him. With a mix of anticipation and anxiety, she picked up the phone, contemplating whether to send a message. Just as she was about to type, her phone rang, startling her. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw min jun name flashing on the screen.
"Hello?" She answered , her voice a mix of excitement and nervousness.
"Hi soo jeon, it's min jun", his voice came through, a warm and reassuring, " I was wondering if you'd like to meet up again sometime? Maybe this weekend?".
Her heart raced, a smile spreading across her face. I'd love to, min jun. How about Saturday afternoon? There's a quaint cafe near Han river that I've been wanting to visit".
"That sounds perfect, pets meet there at 2PM", min jun replied, relief and happiness evident in his tone.
Saturday arrived with the promise of a beautiful day. Min jun arrived at the cafe early, his nerves tingling with anticipation. He chose a table by the window, giving him a view of the bustling riverbank. As he waited, he imagined her walking towards him, her graceful presence brightening the room.
Soo jeon arrived shortly after, her heart pounding with each step she took towards the cafe. As she entered, her eyes immediately found min jun, and she felt a wave of calm wash over her. He stood up , his smile broadening as he saw her.
"You look beautiful ", he said, his eyes reflecting genuine admiration.
"Thank you " she replied, her cheeks flushing slightly . This place is lovely. Thank you for suggesting it".
They sat down, the initial awkwardness quickly dissolving as they began to talk. They shared stories about their lives, their passions, and their dreams. Min jun listened intently as soo jeon spoke about her love for ballet, while she was captivated by his tales of architectural wonders and the creative process behind his designs.
At one point , their hands brushed slightly as they reached for their drinks, sending a spark through both of them. They locked eyes, the moment lingering, charged with a unspoken connection.
"Sorry, min jun murmured, but he didn't pull his hand away immediately, scoring the warmth of her touch .
"It's okay," soo jeon replied softly, her heart racing. She didn't move her hand either, enjoying the subtle contact.
Time seemed to slip away as they lost themselves in conversation. The sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the city, and they realized they had spent hours together without even noticing.
As they parted ways, there was a sense of fulfilment and a promise of more to come, min jun walked her to the bus stop, their hands brushing slightly again, sending a jolt of electricity through them both.
"I had a wonderful time today", soo jeon said softly, her eyes meeting his.
"Me too", min jun replied, his voice filled with sincerity. " lets do this again soon".
"Definitely", she agreed, stepping onto the bus, she turned back, waving as the doors closed, her heart light and hopeful.
Min jun watched the bus drive away, a smile playing on his lips. This was just the beginning, and he couldn't wait to see where their journey would take them next.
