Chapter seven: A gentle goodbye.

After the picnic, kang min jun drove lee soo jeon home. As she ate the picnic food, he couldn't help but steal glances at her, noting the way her eyes lit up with every bite. The evening air was cool, carrying the scent of blossoming flowers as they would through the quiet streets of Seoul. The car ride was filled with a comfortable silence, the kind that speaks volumes without uttering a single word.

'Thank you for today', soo jeon said, breaking the silence. 'I had a wonderful time.

Min jun smiled, his eyes briefly leaving the road to meet hers. 'I did too. It's been a while since I've felt this relaxed.

Soo jeon nodded, her fingers playing with the edge of her dress. 'It's nice to take a break from everything. The city can be so overwhelming sometimes.

They arrived at her apartment, a charming building tucked away in a peaceful neighbourhood. Min jun parked the car and turned to her, a mixture of reluctance and contentment in his eyes. He didn't want to let her go. 'I guess this is goodnight then.

Soo jeon smiled, a gentle and genuine expression that made his heart flutter.' Goodnight, min jun. Thank you again.

Before she could open the door, min jun reached out and gently took her hand.' Soo jeon... I hope we can do this again soon.

Her eyes softened, and she gave his hand a reassuring squeeze. I'd like that'.

She stepped out of the car and waved as she walked towards her building. Min jun watched her until she disappeared inside, a sense of warmth spreading through him. As he drove away, he couldn't help but replay the days moments in his mind, each memory making him look forward to the next time they'd be together.
