Chapter Fifty-one: Planning the Dream.

Min Jun woke up with a bright smile, turning to find Soo Jeon already awake and scrolling through her phone with a look of excitement. He leaned in, placing a gentle kiss on her forehead. "Good morning, fiancée," he whispered, relishing the way the word sounded.

Soo Jeon beamed up at him. "Good morning, future husband. Are you ready to start planning the wedding of our dreams?"

They spent the morning cozied up in their favorite cafe, poring over bridal magazines and Pinterest boards. The air buzzed with excitement as they bounced ideas off each other. Min Jun was drawn to sleek, modern designs with clean lines and subtle colors, while Soo Jeon gravitated towards romantic themes with lush flowers and soft pastels.

"How about something that combines both?" Min Jun suggested, sketching a quick outline on his notepad. "We could have a modern structure with lots of greenery and soft lights."

Soo Jeon's eyes sparkled as she imagined it. "I love that idea. It's like a blend of both our styles—something uniquely us."

The planning process was filled with moments of laughter and a few playful debates. When it came to choosing the venue, Min Jun suggested a chic rooftop location overlooking the city skyline. Soo Jeon, however, had her heart set on a quaint garden surrounded by blooming cherry blossoms.

"We can't have cherry blossoms on a rooftop," Soo Jeon teased, sticking her tongue out at Min Jun.

He chuckled, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. "True, but think of the sunset views. We could time it perfectly with the ceremony."

After visiting a few venues, they stumbled upon a picturesque garden nestled in the heart of the city. It was a hidden gem, blending the urban and natural elements that both Min Jun and Soo Jeon loved. The garden's fountain, surrounded by fairy lights and delicate blooms, felt like a scene straight out of their dreams.

"This is it," Soo Jeon whispered, her voice filled with awe. "It's perfect."

Min Jun squeezed her hand, sharing her sense of wonder. "Just like you."

As they continued planning, Min Jun and Soo Jeon involved their families, inviting them to share in the excitement. The planning meetings quickly turned into lively gatherings, filled with opinions and friendly banter. Min Jun's mother suggested a traditional Korean element, while Soo Jeon's father proposed a fusion menu to represent both their tastes.

Despite the many voices and ideas, Min Jun and Soo Jeon navigated the process with ease, learning to balance everyone's input while keeping true to their vision. The experience brought everyone closer, turning what could have been stressful moments into cherished memories.

One evening, Min Jun surprised Soo Jeon with a special idea. He pulled out a small box and opened it to reveal a delicate pair of wedding cufflinks, engraved with the coordinates of the cafe where they had their first date. "I was thinking we could incorporate little touches like this—things that mean something to us."

Soo Jeon's eyes filled with tears as she admired the cufflinks. "That's beautiful, Min Jun. It's perfect. I think I'll do something similar with my bouquet."

The couple ended the day with a quiet toast, sitting on the rooftop of their apartment building as the city lights twinkled below. They clinked their glasses together, their hearts full of love and anticipation.

"To us," Min Jun said, gazing deeply into Soo Jeon's eyes. "And to the beautiful life we're building together."

Soo Jeon smiled, her heart overflowing with happiness. "To us. I can't wait to see what the future holds."

As they sat together, sharing dreams and laughter under the starry sky, Min Jun and Soo Jeon knew that this was just the beginning of the next chapter of their lives. Their love, already tested and proven, was ready to take on whatever the future might bring, one beautiful step at a time.
