Chapter 10: The Plan to Escape

The morning sun cast a faint glow through the heavy curtains of the bedroom, its light falling upon the two intertwined figures on the bed. Han Jae-min stirred, his body still aching from the brutal encounter with Min-ho the previous night. Every movement sent waves of pain through his sore muscles, but it was the emotional toll that weighed heaviest on his mind.

Min-ho was still asleep, his arm possessively draped over Jae-min's waist. The alpha's breathing was slow and steady, a stark contrast to the chaotic rhythm of the night before. Jae-min carefully extricated himself from Min-ho's grasp, his heart pounding as he moved with painstaking slowness. The last thing he wanted was to wake the alpha and provoke another round of torment.

Jae-min sat up, his mind racing. He knew he couldn't endure this captivity much longer. The previous night had been a brutal reminder of Min-ho's determination to dominate and control him, and the thought of bearing the alpha's child was a nightmare he couldn't accept. He needed to find a way to escape, and he needed to do it soon.

He glanced around the room, taking in the familiar details—the surveillance camera in the corner, the heavy door that was always locked from the outside, and the small window that offered a tantalizing glimpse of freedom. Jae-min knew he couldn't risk trying to break the window; the noise would alert Min-ho or his guards immediately.

As he stood, his legs unsteady, Jae-min's mind worked through various scenarios. He needed a plan, something that would give him a chance to get away without immediate detection. He couldn't afford to make any mistakes.

The door to the room opened abruptly, and Jae-min's heart leapt into his throat. A guard stepped inside, carrying a tray of food and water. The guard's expression was impassive, his eyes avoiding direct contact with Jae-min as he placed the tray on the table by the bed.

Jae-min seized the opportunity to observe the guard more closely. He was muscular and imposing, but his movements were routine, almost bored. Jae-min's mind raced with possibilities. If he could somehow catch the guard off guard, incapacitate him, he might have a chance to escape.

But how? He had no weapons, no tools, and his own body was weak and battered. The odds were slim, but Jae-min knew he had to try. He couldn't afford to give up hope.

The guard turned to leave, and Jae-min saw his chance. With a sudden burst of energy, he lunged at the guard, aiming for the element of surprise. The guard's eyes widened in shock as Jae-min's body collided with his, knocking him off balance. They struggled briefly, but Jae-min's weakened state was no match for the guard's strength.

The guard quickly overpowered Jae-min, pinning him to the ground with ease. "Stay down," the guard growled, his voice low and threatening. "You're not going anywhere."

Jae-min's heart sank as he was dragged back to the bed, the guard's grip unyielding. The door opened again, and Min-ho stepped inside, his expression a mix of anger and amusement.

"What do we have here?" Min-ho asked, his voice dangerously calm. "It seems you're still full of surprises, Jae-min."

Jae-min's breath was heavy, his body trembling with a mix of fear and frustration. He knew he had failed, and the consequences would be severe.

Min-ho dismissed the guard with a nod, his eyes never leaving Jae-min. "You've made a mistake, Jae-min. A very serious mistake."

The alpha approached the bed, his gaze cold and calculating. He reached out and grabbed Jae-min by the chin, forcing him to meet his eyes. "Did you really think you could escape? That you could outsmart me?"

Jae-min's voice was barely a whisper. "I can't stay here. I can't… endure this."

Min-ho's grip tightened, his expression darkening. "You will endure whatever I decide. You belong to me, Jae-min. And you will learn your place."

Min-ho released Jae-min's chin, his gaze hardening. "But since you seem so eager to test your limits, perhaps it's time for another lesson."

The alpha turned and walked to a cabinet against the wall, opening it to reveal an array of restraints and other devices designed for control. He selected a set of cuffs and returned to the bed, his movements methodical and precise.

"You need to understand, Jae-min," Min-ho said as he secured the cuffs around Jae-min's wrists. "There is no escape. The sooner you accept that, the easier this will be for you."

Jae-min's heart pounded as he felt the cold metal against his skin. The cuffs were a physical manifestation of his captivity, a reminder of the alpha's absolute control. Min-ho's touch was firm and unyielding as he fastened the restraints, ensuring that Jae-min was completely immobilized.

Min-ho's gaze lingered on Jae-min for a moment before he turned and walked to the door. "I'll be back later. In the meantime, I suggest you reflect on your situation."

The door closed behind Min-ho, leaving Jae-min alone in the room, the weight of the restraints pressing down on him. The reality of his situation was a crushing burden, and the knowledge that Min-ho would return for another round of torment was a bleak prospect.

Jae-min lay on the bed, his body still trembling from the earlier struggle. He knew he needed to find a way to escape, but the odds seemed insurmountable. Min-ho's control was absolute, and the alpha's obsession with breaking him was a relentless threat.

As the hours passed, Jae-min's mind raced with thoughts of escape and survival. He knew he couldn't give up hope, no matter how bleak the situation seemed. He had to find a way to outsmart Min-ho, to find a weakness in the alpha's seemingly unbreakable control.

The sound of the door opening broke through Jae-min's thoughts, and he looked up to see Min-ho returning. The alpha's expression was as cold and commanding as ever, his presence a constant reminder of the power dynamics at play.

Min-ho approached the bed, his gaze fixed on Jae-min. "Have you had time to reflect on your actions, Jae-min?"

Jae-min's voice was hoarse, his eyes pleading. "Please… let me go. I can't take any more."

Min-ho's smile was cold and unfeeling. "I'm afraid that's not an option. You will stay here until you understand your place."

The alpha reached out and caressed Jae-min's cheek, his touch both tender and threatening. "And tonight, we will continue your education."

Min-ho's words sent a shiver down Jae-min's spine, the prospect of another night of torment a chilling reality. The alpha's control was unyielding, and Jae-min knew that the only way to survive was to find a way to outsmart him.

As the night approached, Jae-min's resolve hardened. He would endure whatever Min-ho had planned, but he would not give up. He would find a way to escape, no matter what it took. The battle for his freedom was far from over, and Jae-min was determined to find a way to reclaim his life.
