Chapter 19: Plotting the Rescue

Hyun-woo paced the length of his small apartment, his mind racing with plans and strategies. The confrontation with Min-ho had only fueled his determination to rescue Jae-min. He had already contacted Jae-min's boss and some of his closest colleagues—people who knew Jae-min well and would help him devise a plan to get the omega out of Min-ho's clutches.

The room was dimly lit, casting long shadows on the walls. The low hum of conversation from the phone call he had just ended still lingered in his ears. He had been speaking with Jae-min's boss, Mr. Choi, who had been deeply concerned about Jae-min's sudden disappearance and was eager to help.

As he continued to think, his phone buzzed with a notification. It was a message from one of Jae-min's colleagues, Ji-hoon, who had agreed to meet with him. Hyun-woo checked the time and prepared to head out. He knew that every minute counted, and he couldn't afford to waste any time.

Hyun-woo arrived at a discreet café in the heart of Seoul, a place where they could talk without fear of being overheard. The café was quiet, with only a few patrons scattered around, absorbed in their own conversations. He spotted Ji-hoon at a corner table, his expression tense as he scanned the room.

"Ji-hoon," Hyun-woo said as he approached, taking a seat across from him. "Thanks for meeting me on such short notice."

Ji-hoon nodded, his face a mix of worry and determination. "Hyun-woo, I'm really concerned about Jae-min. What's the plan?"

Hyun-woo leaned in, his voice low. "I've been trying to gather as much information as I can. Min-ho's security is tight, but I've managed to find out some crucial details. We need to figure out a way to get Jae-min out of there without getting caught."

Ji-hoon nodded, pulling out a notebook and a pen. "I've been talking to Mr. Choi and some of Jae-min's other friends. We're all willing to help. What do you need from us?"

"We need to know Min-ho's schedule," Hyun-woo said. "When does he leave the mansion, and for how long? We also need to know if there are any weak points in the security system. If we can find a window of opportunity, we can plan the extraction."

Ji-hoon's brow furrowed as he jotted down notes. "I can start asking around to see if anyone knows Min-ho's schedule. It's risky, but we might be able to find out from people who have access to that information."

"Good," Hyun-woo said. "We also need to think about the logistics of the actual rescue. Once we know when Min-ho is out, we'll need to have a team ready to go in and get Jae-min. We'll need a vehicle, a way to bypass the security, and someone who can handle any unexpected problems."

Ji-hoon nodded. "I can help with the vehicle and getting some people together. We need to make sure that everyone involved is trusted and knows their role. This can't be a half-hearted attempt. We need to be precise."

Hyun-woo agreed, his eyes narrowing with determination. "We'll also need to ensure that Jae-min is in a safe location once we get him out. I don't want him to be at risk of being recaptured or harmed. Do you have any suggestions for a safe house or a place where he can stay until we figure out our next steps?"

Ji-hoon thought for a moment before responding. "There's a place I know of—an old family property outside the city. It's secluded and secure. It could work as a temporary safe house."

"Perfect," Hyun-woo said. "Let's finalize those details and make sure everything is in place. We need to move quickly, and we need to be ready for anything."

The two continued to discuss the plan, their conversation a flurry of tactical details and contingencies. Hyun-woo felt a renewed sense of purpose as they outlined each step of the operation. They would need to be meticulous, careful, and prepared for any obstacles that might arise.

As they wrapped up their meeting, Hyun-woo's phone buzzed again. It was a message from one of his contacts, confirming that Min-ho would be attending a high-profile event in the city the following week—a perfect opportunity for their rescue plan.

Ji-hoon and Hyun-woo exchanged a look of understanding. They had their window of opportunity, and now it was time to prepare. They parted ways with a sense of urgency, knowing that every detail needed to be meticulously planned and executed.

...

The following days were a blur of activity. Hyun-woo coordinated with his allies, ensuring that every aspect of the plan was in place. He worked tirelessly, driven by the thought of Jae-min and the promise he had made to rescue him.

The plan was to strike when Min-ho was away, using the distraction of the high-profile event to their advantage. They would need to move swiftly and efficiently, with no room for error. Every moment spent preparing brought them closer to the critical day when they would finally make their move.

Hyun-woo knew that the rescue mission was fraught with risk, but the stakes were too high to back down now. He was ready to do whatever it took to get Jae-min out of that mansion and back to safety.

As the days counted down to the planned operation, Hyun-woo's resolve hardened. The time for action was approaching, and he was determined to see it through to the end. Jae-min's freedom—and their future—depended on it.
