The Family

As the days went by, Lyneth settled into her new routine. She woke up early every morning, cooked breakfast for the family, and then spent the day cleaning the house and taking care of the children. She was determined to do a good job, and she was proud of the progress she had made.

One evening, as she was serving dinner, Mr. Santos walked into the dining room. Lyneth had seen him briefly on her first day, but this was the first time she had really met him.

"Hello, Lyneth," he said, smiling. "I'm glad to finally meet you properly. My wife has told me great things about you."

Lyneth smiled, feeling a sense of nervousness. "Thank you, sir," she said. "I'm happy to be working for your family."

Mr. Santos sat down at the table, and Lyneth served him dinner. As they ate, Lyneth couldn't help but notice the way Mr. Santos interacted with his family. He was kind and gentle, and the children adored him.

After dinner, Lyneth cleared the table and began to wash the dishes. Mrs. Santos came into the kitchen, helping her with the cleanup.

"Lyneth, I want to thank you for all your hard work," Mrs. Santos said. "You've been a huge help to me and my family. We're very grateful."

Lyneth smiled, feeling a sense of pride. "Thank you, ma'am," she said. "I'm happy to be working for you."

As the evening drew to a close, Lyneth said goodnight to the family and went to her room. She was exhausted, but she felt happy and content. She was finally doing something to improve her life, and she was proud of herself.

The next day, Lyneth received a surprise visit from Analyn. Mrs. Santos had given her permission to bring her daughter to the house, and Lyneth was overjoyed to see her.

Analyn was shy at first, but soon she was playing with Juan and Sophia in the playroom. Lyneth watched, feeling a sense of happiness. This was what she had been working towards - a better life for her daughter.

As the day drew to a close, Lyneth hugged Analyn tightly. "I'm so proud of you, baby," she said. "You're growing up to be a beautiful young girl."

Analyn smiled, hugging her mother back. "I love you, Mommy," she said.

Lyneth felt a sense of tears pricking at her eyes. She was doing it, she thought. She was providing a better life for her daughter, and she was proud of herself.
