End of this friendship

Chapter 1. The end of this friendship.

Twinkle lived a life of luxury with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Hillary in the western part of Pudan. As a form five student of Kadanzy, she was surrounded with kids from wealthy homes too. Twinkle schools at Kadanzi College in Pudan. Her parents wealth were evident in every aspect of her life, from her designer school bag to the expensive watch on her wrist. She was the epitome of perfection, with her plump figure, light skin and her stylish hairdo.

Twinkle is the second child of Mr. and Mrs. Hillary. Her parents are so wealthy. They have just Twinkle and her brother Snoopy.

Twinkle has a girlfriend in school, Bella, that’s her name. Bella and Twinkle seem to be the most beautiful girls in their class. Bella is slender, light skinned, tall and very attractive. Twinkle is plump, tall, light skinned and very pretty too. She had the best school bag, best shoes, most costly watch and best hair do in class. She seemed to be on top of the world. She had a class and not everyone belonged to that class. Her friends in school where Bella and Purity and they were of cause from very rich homes. Their friendship was built on there shared love for luxury and class. However, beneath the surface, cracks began to form.

On a Monday morning Twinkle was brought to school with a Hummer Jeep, courtesy of her parents. Her friends Bella and Purity were already in class.

Bella ran out to meet Twinkle, “Twinkle dear, you are on time today, wow, sign of good news”. They exclaimed.

"Good morning dearie, what’s up?" Purity asked.

"Guess what!!!!?" Twinkle said.

"What?" Bella and Purity asked.

"Dad took me out for shopping last weekend." She said smiling.

"Hmm! That’s good news," Purity said.

"But can you guess mine?" Purity added.

"No!!!" They replied.

"Well, I’ve gotten a new iPhone." Purity shouted.

"Wooow!!!!!" They girls screamed with joy.

"That’s great." Twinkle said.

"Bella you don’t have any news for us, I guess?" Twinkle asked.

"What news? My dad promised me a new Laptop before he fell sick and you know he has been sick for over a month now. It has been so difficult, and you know my mom is no more. I’m the one taking care of him, Bella said sadly."

"Ooh!!!" Purity replied.

"Hmmm!!! I’m not in the mood for bad news." "Anyways, I came with Ice-Cream today." she said as they walked to there seat.

Everyone in class worshipped Twinkle and respected her because of the way she carried her self. Her aura was on a different level.

But she is very rude, everyone knows that.

After school that day, the trio went to a restaurant to have lunch. Bella didn’t have any money on her, Purity and Twinkle ate while Bella watched.

"I can’t keep spending my money on you, I don’t think I will gain any thing from you." Purity said as she broke the silence.

"But you know if I had money on me, I will buy for you and Twinkle." Bella said.

"Please leave Twinkle out of this, it’s very clear that you don’t belong to this class anymore. You are wretched or don’t you get it?" Purity asked.

"I’m not wretched." Bella protested. "I understand that I am broke but I'm still hoping for the best." Bella said.

"Hoping?" Twinkle asked laughing.

"Ha ha ha, this is really funny." Purity said

"Hmm!! Look at this pauper, you know something? Today marks the end of our friendship." Twinkle said and stood up to leave.

"Of course you." Purity said.

"Twinkle what’s wrong with you?" Asked Bella. "I thought we're friends and we should stick together in times like this." Bella said.

"I don’t have time for this nonsense." Twinkle said as she took her bag and left the restaurant with Purity, leaving Bella behind.

Bella sat in the restaurant for a while, wondering how things has gone this wrong. She had flash blacks of how she took Twinkle out when she went through depression after a breakup. She called her and purity out and the had a day off.

"Hi babes, hope you ain't still down?" Bella asked twinkle over the phone.

"I do not know, I don't even know how I feel." Twinkle responded.

"It's fine, I understand my love, eeeem, how about we go see a movie, you, purity and I." Bella said.

"Come on, you don't need to stress yourself." Twinkle said.

"Naaaaah, I miss the old you, okay, I'll call Purity and ask her to get ready." Bella concluded.

Bella called Purity and also invited her, they both went over to Twinkles place and got her to go out with them. They had real fun.

She got Twinkle a few things, they saw a movie, gisted, took photos and had lots of fun.

Bella noticed all of these thoughts were making her cry.

She wiped her eyes as she noticed tears dropped from her eyes. She was the only one in the restaurant, she gently stop up and left the restaurant.

She went back home. The road was lonely and almost dark.

When she got home, she washed up and went to the dinning to have dinner. She had to eat before going to see her Dad who's still in the hospital. While she was eating, she checked her phone and saw that Twinkle has removed her from the "Trio friends group" she wasn't a part of the friendship anymore and so she wasn't needed in the group. She wanted to reach out to Twinkle but stopped herself. She changed her mind half way. If Twinkle and Purity really didn't want her any more then there isn't any need for her to impose herself on them. Maybe she really doesn't belong to there girl group anymore.

When Twinkle was done eating, she took her plate back to the kitchen and cleaned up. Then took some side dishes for her Daddy, the man she loved so dearly. She dressed in a lovely gown and as simple as ever and ran over to the hospital to see her Dad. She have had a long day already, she hoped seeing her Dad would make her feel better.

The doctor's call came in as she was leaving the house to the hospital.

"Hello" she said.

"Bella, when are you coming over?" The Doctor asked.

"Pretty soon, I'm already on my way." Bella said.

"Alright then, be quick then."

"Alright sir." Bella responded.

Bella hanged up, locked the door behind her and left for the clinic.

On her way to the clinic, she stopped by a fruit store to get some for her Dad. "He would love them" she thought.

That's the money she would have used to eat when she was out with Twinkle and Purity but she didn't, she wanted to get something for her Dad.

She got the fruits she felt he would love and left. When she got to the hospital, she ran to meet her Dad, it's been a long day, and she has missed him.
