I placed my palms on top of his and followed along with his chant. "Light as a feather, stiff as a board, once we bond, there will be no more. Luce ut pluma, rigida ut tabula, Cum fies unus, non erit amplius." 


We repeated this chant until both of us were levitating in mid-air and our astral bodies were in the darkness of a cave, this was his element, and he had the upper hand. I couldn't see what was in front of me as the darkness surrounded my entire body, I felt panic rise as the darkness consumed me. I whimpered and trembled in fear, desperate to search for a way out. 


I screamed for help and ran into the darkness with no sense of where I was running until something tripped me. I was then grabbed and slammed against the wall. My breath trembled as my chest heaved, my heart beating through my chest.
