Late For Her First Class

It was quarter to 9 am when I made my way to the room that I was supposed to 90 minutes ago, but since I didn't know the direction, I got late, and I entered the room which was filled with silence and only the lecturer who was presenting using the projector was talking, and I was standing at the doorway looking for a seat that I could seat and I didn't even know when the lecturer paused and everyone in the room was looking at me.

" Miss, can I help you?" He inquired, and I heard a familiar voice before I could look at who asked the question. I started

I am looking for a seat, I stated after spotting an empty seat in front of the room.

" Do you belong to this class because the watch states that it's 9 am and the class is almost done? " He inquired as we locked our eyes, and he pretended that he did not know who I was.

" I am sorry sir, I got lost on my way here and this is my first day. " I stated as inside my thoughts I cursed him and the embarrassment I was going through. To top it up, he stated.

Miss, this isn't a restroom that you enter when you feel like it. Please wait outside. There are others who made an effort to make it on time, and you are wasting your time seeing me in my office after the class is over. He stated as he left me standing in the doorway with my face astonished as he continued his presentation. I strolled outside the room where my heart had sunk, and I failed to dial some digits on the phone. My mother's name popped out on the screen when I pressed the call button, but the call couldn't go through since there was no network coverage in the building. I wanted to speak to someone, and before I could take a few steps to go and search for the place where I could get a network, I saw him stroll out of the room with his laptop and books before the class was filled with clamors.

I have been running not to miss the road since day one. I have been in trouble and, by the description,

On the first day, I didn't want to have any more trouble. I had to run to keep up with the pace, and it was as if we were going around the same building. I couldn't hold myself and my heart was racing.

" Sir, why are you doing this? " I inquired, which made him stop halfway.

" I am showing you the building that you won't forget next time and give that as an excuse for being late. " He stated as he looked at me with his expressionless face.

" Okay, I have understood that sir, I won't be late again, and am I going to see you at your office. " I inquired, which made him remove a smirk on his face.

" You do love trouble, lady? " He inquired

" What have I done this time round? " I inquired, confused.

Then why do you want to see me at my office or... He stated before I cut him short since he was going to a topic that I didn't want to discuss.

I am sorry, I will be on my way. Thank you for your time. I stated as I strolled my way. My heart was beating in my chest so fast that I couldn't control it and I hastened my steps as I did not know where I was going when I got myself in the middle of a group of people.

" Wow, I wasn't expecting you would be brave like this. " A tall muscular man who had his abs full was standing in front of me and I don't know how I ended up in the middle of the people.

" I am sorry, I got into the wrong place. " I pleaded before I turned to stroll my way out of the middle when I felt a strong heavy hand grip my tiny shoulder.

" I said let go of my shoulder. " I stated before he tightened his grip. My shoulder started to ache.

"Or what, You are going to call your mommy to come and save you? "He stated as he broke into laughter as the whole crowd was silent. I don't know how I did that because it happened way too fast, and I found myself taking a grip on his wrist, and the next thing he was down in front of me as I broke his fingers, I had never done this before, and it was weird, so I left the man who was filled with pain and agony as the crowd mocked him as they laughed at him. I left the crowd as I fastened my steps to the hostels where I locked myself and sat behind the door. It was not long before I heard a doorknocker on my room door  which drifted my attention.
