Luciel went downstairs and saw Treyton still sitting there watching the news while messaging someone.
"Who will come tonight?" Luciel asked.
"I only invited Nathan, Yang, and my cousin, who just finished his exams. With them and all the bodyguards here, we have enough people to have a lively barbeque party," Treyton said.
"Ok, there are indeed enough people. Then, I'll just go and tell Nina to buy more things."
Both of them tacitly didn't mention what happened a while ago and just went along with their usual interactions.
"We have enough stock. What do you want Nina to buy?"
"I'll just let her buy more meat and snacks. The ice cream, cookies, and chocolates I have are already running out," Luciel said, and he went to find Nina.
Luciel let Nina buy a lot of his snacks and, of course, other ingredients they needed. He let her buy at least enough food that could last for a week.
The novel said that Treyton only woke up five days after the meteor shower, so he would be staying in the villa for at least a week.
He didn't want to starve while waiting for other people to wake up. So, he let Nina buy a lot of food for a week.
Nina also didn't ask anything, thinking that they might use a lot of ingredients in their barbecue party.
Afterwards, he sat next to Treyton but didn't pay attention to the news that they were playing; instead, he busied himself downloading movies, offline games, and books.
There was no mention that the internet connection was working after they woke up, so it was better to download different things so that he could still do something afterwards.
But before he started downloading the things he wanted, he messaged Richard first and warned him to go home immediately and don't try to work overtime.
Even though he only met Richard twice, he still gave him a bit of a warning because they indeed worked together for a while.
He didn't know if Richard would follow his warning or not. The important thing was giving him a warning.
After giving a message to Richard, he devoted his attention to what he was doing.
The first to arrive was Treyton's cousin, whom he hadn't seen yet.
"Good evening," Treyton's cousin greeted them politely.
"Oh, you came? I thought you would still be holed up in your room while reading books.
Ciel, this is my cousin, Calvin; he is studying at X University.
Calvin, this is my lover, Luciel."
"Nice to meet you, Mr. Luciel."
"Hello Calvin, just call me by my name; no need to be too polite," Luciel said while looking at Calvin for a bit, then continued what he was doing.
"Cousin, why are you suddenly inviting me to a barbecue party?" Calvin asked as he sat down.
"Ciel wanted to have a barbecue party while watching the meteor shower this night. I invited you because aunt told me a week ago that you just finished your exams and needed to relax."
"Studying isn't hard for me; it is even more relaxing," Calvin answered seriously.
"Look, you always stayed in your room to study; that's why your aunt was very worried about you and asked me to let you see the world. If you are playing some games or other things, aunt wouldn't be worried about you."
"Isn't studying a good thing?" Luciel said while still looking for movies to download. Most parents would want their children to study, and they were even relieved to see them study every day.
"Yes, studying is indeed a good thing, but this cousin of mine only knows how to study. He doesn't play games, doesn't watch movies, and doesn't go out with friends. That's why aunt was very worried about him."
"Are you serious? You don't even watch movies?" Ciel asked Calvin.
"No, I don't," Calvin politely answered.
"What about games?"
"I don't like playing games."
"What about entertainment books?"
"I think they are boring."
"How old are you again?"
"I'm nineteen years old."
"Only two years younger than me."
"Oh, our brains run in different directions," Luciel concluded. All the things that he was enjoying weren't enjoyed by Calvin.
"He had been like that since he was a child; that's why aunt was always worried that he wouldn't be able to live his life properly. Grandfather also can't do anything to him, so he was sent here to study."
Before he could say something, Nathan entered and began talking, so he didn't bother replying to Treyton anymore.
"Treyton, Luciel, hello. Calvin, you're also here? I haven't seen you since you started going to the university," Nathan said, and sat down next to Calvin.
"What's with the sudden invitation?"
"Luciel wanted to have a barbecue while watching the meteor shower later on. Luciel said it would be fun to have more people, so I invited you guys," Treyton said.
"As expected, you're not the type of person to suddenly invite people to a barbeque. When I received your message, I even suspected that your number was hacked," Nathan said with a chuckle.
After a while, Yang also arrived with his daughter.
Now that all of them were here, he could finally say that they were complete.
In the novel that he read, Treyton and his bodyguards were the only ones in the villa. They found Mr. Yang later on, but his daughter wasn't with him any longer. Calvin also only appeared when Treyton went to his university to look for him.
The most unfortunate person among them would be Nathan. In the novel, when Treyton went to his clinic, no one was there, and the place was full of blood. It was presumed that he was eaten by zombies.
He let Treyton invite all of them here because he wanted them all to survive and, of course, for them to at least have a smooth beginning because they were all the people he had already met.
Especially Nathan, who also died at the beginning. He had been getting along with him when he came to check on Treyton's wounds for the past two weeks. They even played games together sometimes, so he wanted to give him a chance to survive this time.
