Academy Infirmary

After Noelle and I sparred for about 2 hours, I had minor bruises so I decided to head to the Academy's Infirmary.

I struck the bell twice and a voice came In from inside telling me to enter.

"Come in"

"Ooh it's you."

The Infirmary lady said, rather than a lady she seemed like a bit older than me.

About 4-5 years probably even Lower, for an Infirmary lady she sure looked young.

It was the lady i'd gotten treatment from when I frequently burnt my hand to get an effect Stat.

Honestly, my effect stats were quite dry so I felt the need to put atleast 1 effect Stat on it so I decided yo burn my hands repeatedly to get it.

"You showed up after quite a while. When I saw you in the Auditorium id thought uou probably wouldn't make it past the 1st round with your rank, look at you. Making it past the 2nd tournament."

"Haha, It's all thanks to the help you gave me a while ago, if it weren't for you i'd have had serious problems."

"I didn't really do much except give you some potions that helped your burnt hands. So I don't deserve any credit."

"You did put your job on the line by not reporting me to the authorities."

"Well, if you'd just done it to get me to notice you, id have directly reported you to the police for self harm and stalking. But, it's a shame that I wasn't the one you were After."

She said with a sad look in her eyes, if anyone else had seen such a reaction they'd probably think she actually meant that.

But, I know how much of a tease she was.

"By, the way I was meaning to ask you."

She said while tying bandages on me after applying medications. The injuries weren't that bad so she just used some medicine instead of a potion.

Medicines cost around 1 bronze coin per use while a potion costs 1 Gold per use, that's just how different their importance and prizes were.

"So, like who's the girl you have been hanging out with alot lately?"

"Ooh you mean Noelle? She is my neighbour, we weren't really close before but now we have been on good terms."

"Is she... like your girlfriend?"

"What? Of course she's not. Plus just recently she got rejected by her childhood friend so she's kinda using my company to not feel lonely I guess."

"Hmm, is that so. Well you are all patched up so you can go now. Or do you wanna rest for a while in the bed? There is someone else present too so be sure not to be too noisy."

"Well, if it's alright with you. I'd very much like to rest. I've been practicing nonstop so I can't walk back to my dorms without atleast a bit of rest."

"No problem at all, you can sleep here if you want."

"Thanks."

"Just doing my job."

And so I opened the curtains of one of the beds only to see Fey sellpong in the bed soundly.

"Hey, I told you not make a ruckus. And, you had to open the Curtains which had a student sleeping in it."

"Sorry. I didn't think that the first curtain I'd opened would have a student in it."

"Haa, guess you don't know the rules here. Whoever comes first takes the 1st bed and so on. So if I tell you that there ade 3 patients that means you can get into the 4th one."

"Ooh, I understand now. So that's how it is. Sorry I didn't notice."

"Well it was a genuine mistake so I'll let you go this time."

Well, it was actually intentional. Right now, I knew that Foy Elvene would be at the Infirmary because of an yearly Cold she gets at this time. So she becomes extremely weak. I'd opened the curtains in hopes of getting to talk to Fey.

I wanted her to convince That guy into talking to Noelle again. That way, she wouldn't feel so lonely anymore.

And also, I want them to build their relationship sooner than the Comic. So they can grow together and maybe out of the kindness of their heart would teach me a skill or two.

But, seems like the princess is in quite the deep sleep. Will I get another chance to talk to her?

I'm not sure. I made sure to get beaten. Up extra hard by her so I wouldn't seem suspicious coming to the Infirmary.

As I was thinking that, the curtains of my neighbour's space opened up and I soon shot out of the bed in hopes of talking to her.

"Hey" I shouted towards the departing figure. It seems that Mrs Rose wasn't present in the room.

Maybe she went somewhere.

"What?" She said in a bit of an annoyed tone before she turned towards me.

"Aah, you... Aren't you the 2 faced bastard I saw at the day of the entrance exams?"

2 faced? Me? When have I even talked to her except for that one time I bumped into her.

"Two faced, Me, Why?"

I asked not knowing why she called me

But damn she looks nice in normal clothes, doesn't she.

That wasn't a question.

Wearing a normal tshirt with shorts highlights her curves quite well.

As I looked up at her face hoping she didn't catch me staring so intently.

"You... You disgust me. I'm leaving."

She said with a death glare filled with disgust.

"Hey wait."

I unknowingly grabbed her arm out of reflex, she flinched the moment I caught her arm and slapped it away.

"You... If you try anything funny I'll kill you. I don't care if I get expelled but I'll definately drag you to hell."

I put my hands up in resignation, looks like I'm coming off as some kind of a creep trying to do something to her.

"I have a request, that's all."

The moment I said that she became a bit wary and stepped away from me.

"You...-"

"Wait, stop misunderstanding. While I find you quite attractive as a whole, I don't see a reason why I'd try to do something bad to the princess of An entire Empire."

"Is that so, than get to the point."

She said while not letting her guard down for even a second. Man, if it was the MC than the treatment would have been so much better.

By the way, why isn't the MC here anyway? That's kinda suspicious.

Anyway, I tried resolving myself and asked her outright.

"Do you have friends?"

The moment I said that, her forehead twitched as veins popped out of her head and Clenched fists while filled with intense bloodlust she asked

"What?"

Ooh yaa, except for the MC she doesn't have any friends so that was not a good question to ask.

It was as if I was mocking her for not having any friends.

Shit, I think I might just die today. Mom, dad, sis it looks like I couldn't evade my death.
