"Are you mocking me?"

In a panic I stuttered while she was getting close to me with intense anger in her eyes.

"W... Wait, no I'm not. You know the Rank 45 Justin Parker I saw you talking to him yesterday so I was wondering if you'd help mith something."

"Are you serious? When did I ever talk to that man. I think you are mistaken. You must have seen someone else."

Wait what? She never met him before? How is that possible, she should have met him on the entrance ceremony day.

Soon after I'd made contact with her and in 1 month she should have been charmed by his powers and started liking him.

But, she never met him before? Even though we are a day away from the 3rd Tournament?

"Well than, if you have nothing else to say I'm leaving."

"Wait, do you really not know him?"

"How many times do I have to tell you, I do not know him. I've never even talked to him. Why are you even that desperate anyway."

"Do you wanna know?"

The moment I asked her, she was taken aback and started to ponder over something before she opened her mouth again

"Well I am curious as to why a mere 59000 rank Man wants to meet a man ranked 45."

"Well, there's a girl named Noelle who is close to Justin but he recently rejected her and they haven't been talking to each other. She seems quite lonely without him around so I wanted to try and get them together so they can be on good terms again."

"Hmm... Is that so? But, than what if he doesn't want to talk to her anymore? What if he's avoiding her because he doesn't want anything to do with her?"

Well, that too is a possibility, but truthfully that in itself is not a problem since I know what kind of a person Jason is.

He's an awkward person who doesn't even consider the possibility of him being popular. So he was taken aback by her confession.

He wanted to accept her confession but he wanted to focus on his position and future. That's why he ended up being harsh towards her.

He's probably contempting over how he should reconcile with her.

While I'm afraid that Noelle will probably stop talking to me if she managed to patch things up with Justin.

She probably won't even look at me anymore after that.

But, still. If I wanted her to grow strong, he had to be by her side. Because he's always been the reason why she held the sword.

He's always been the reason why she's been so good at it. He will also be the reason why she becomes an awakened person and can literally sweep the entire table and end up at the top.

That's just how powerful she is. It's not love itself that's giving them power but the drive they get from wanting to be better for that one person is what is making them powerful.

It's the same for all the heroines. I'm not sure if it's an innate power of some skill that the MC subconsciously uses or if it's because of their own hardwork.

But, their resolve to their reasons are what makes them strong. That is absolute.

They end up falling for the MC and fight against each other to get closer to the MC. This time, what the heroines reason for Awakening was to become as powerful as the MC and become closer to him.

"Hey, what have you been thinking so deeply, I don't have all day you know."

"Ooh, yaa was in my own world for a second there. Anyway where were we. Yaa, as for the answer. I know that guy, he isn't the type to do something like that. He's probably contempting over how he should reconcile with her."

"Hmm, how are you so sure? Do you perhaps know him?"

"Well, we live in the same town. So you could say in a way that we are childhood acquaintances."

"Acquaintances and not friends?"

"`well I have my circumstances."

"Is that so... Well whatever."

At some point something pondered me and so I asked her outright.

"You know, you seem like you can hold a proper conversation and don't seem like the awkward type, so why don't you have any friends."

"You!! How rude. Ofcourse I have friends what makes you think I don't. I've got a lot of friends."

"Than why haven't anyone come to you even though you were bedridden because of a nasty fever."

"Hmph... That's none of your concern."

"Yaa speaking of A nasty fever. You feeling alright?"

Taken aback by my question, she said.

"I.. I'm fine."

"Well that's good than."

Why is she blushing like that? I see, so she probably hasn't been asked such a simple question.

She's so cute when she's like this. Well as a Fey Fenetic I would say that she's always been cute. No matter what she does, it's just that her bloodlust isn't something I can outright take.

It could kill me afterall, she was a D3 while I was an E2. There's almost 10 ranks difference.

I hesitated for a bit but I've always wanted to ask her this, whenever Justin wasn't present next to her she'd always feel lonely.

Whenever she was in peral, she'd always contempt over nobody being by her side or being totally alone.

And, now that she doesn't have any friends atall. Which is probably kinda My fault I can more or less guess why she didn't meet the MC.

It was probably because I bumped into her which caused a small delay for her and she couldn't make contact with The MC.

I wanna ask her, and so I went ahead and asked her.

"Hey, like you know... Since you have nobody to hang out with.. Noelle would gladly take you in. While we are not up to your standards based on ranks but we'll treat you better than any of the top ranked people. If you don't like being with us maybe than you can stop hanging out with us."

"Are you really asking a Noble princess to hang out with a bunch of commoners."

"Yes." I said with resolve. I know what kind of a person She was. She doesn't discriminate against Commoners and Nobles.

She's a very average girl.

"Hmph... Alright. But, if I don't like hanging out with y'all than I'll stop doing it."

"Glad to have you in our group."

While she looked like she was making a serious expression as if she didn't care but I know that she's probably overjoyed that she made friends.

I'll have to tell Noelle about this tho. But, I know she'd accept it.
