It was the day of the tournament, and when I looked at my watch no 91 displayed on the Watch.
So headed to the warp gates Building and headed for The warp gate that had no 91 on it.
Come to think of it, 91 is quite the high Number isn't it? Hmm, that means my opponent's will be quite strong.
It's going to be a pain to deal with them, last time I was lucky to have been the strongest in the group so it didn't really take much effort to clear it.
But, now that I was Ranked 46223 but after raising From E1 to D9 I should be around ranke 42 thousand.
Thinking as such I got into the warp gate Building and entered the Floor which had the 91st group's warp gate.
And I entered the warp gate and soon found myself at my sub group number which was 5. And, as expected I was the least powerful member in the sub group.
At 4. It seems that there are only 4 people in the group. Well that's to be expected. As this is tournament 4.
3 in each group have been disqualified, meaning there are only 47 in each group.
So obviously, 3 groups will only contain 4 members and I was in one of them.
This makes it even harder, since there are only 4 people, the odds of me winning this match would be quite less.
And so, I stood there waiting for the others to arrive. There seems to be 3 other people and all of them are people from the other species.
There were 1 Male Ogre ranked D9, one male elf ranked D8 and a Male Fairy Ranked D8.
The worst enemy was the fairy who excels in Magic ability and if I get hit by even 1 of his attacks since he's higher ranked, I'll probably pass out.
Meaning 2 of them were ranked higher than me. And one of the 2 was bad news, That makes things worst for me.
But, thanks to the buff effect, 2 of my Stats have gone past D9 and are at the beginning of D8.
Especially Agile Body, If I can use this ability i should be able to perceive his attacks well and counter them well.
And since their bodies are weak when compared to an average D8 ranked one, I should be able to deal good damage without using Dominant strength.
If I use, sense Perception, Agile Body which will last for 5 Mins I should be able to take out the Fairy Guy.
I didn't want to use this skill since it was the ace up my sleeve and I don't think I'll be getting any new abilities anytime soon but there's no helping it.
This buff will help me get past D6 In strength, sense and agility. I'm quite lucky to have had the information about that Lucky box.
If not this round would have been problematic for me.
"The Tournament 4 will start in 5 Minutes so everyone be prepared."
The refrees shouted from the battle field.
So it's time, this will decide if I can get past to the next round or not.
Man, I'm so nervous.
[Match 1 - James Killer Vs Gabriel Navier]
And so the tournament started...
...
[Winner - Gabriel Navier]
It was an overwhelming victory for Gabriel the Fairy.
What the hell, how can you dominate someone that's almost the same strength as you?
But, it was understandable that he didn't let the guy even get near him.
His magic was leaps and bounds ahead, it's understandable since, a Fairy excels in Magic and when they are at a certain level.
They are 2 levels over the average person, meaning of the average person was on D8 in magic, while the fairies are also at D8 in rank their magic is Over D6.
Because that's how important it is for them to train in magic so they neglect everything except magic.
They realise their mistakes later in the story and start training their bodies too which results in them being next level monsters but that's a story of the future.
For now, let's go and win this match.
[Match 2 - Naviran Ramchel Vs Ron Kayler]
[Begin]
And so I fought This Ogre at full power and just barely managed to defeat him.
I used my Advanced strength, Sense and agility stat which was at D8 and managed to swiftly Knock him down
I used the Sense Stat to perceive what he was doing and found countermeasures as in how to deav with his attack
Than I used the Agility stat to dodge the enemy's attacks and get closer to him at good speed.
Than the moment he let his guard down thinking he'd win, because I let an attack of his giant sword get to my face I used Quickly step and got behind him and used my strength Stat to good use and chopped the back of his head with the back of my sword.
I thought it wouldn't be enough and he'd probably back off and start again, but turns out he was looking down on me too much to even think I'd win against him.
And used most of his Strength on his Arms and left his back wide open. And I used it to my advantage and won the match.
He fell unconscious and had a look of disbelief in him. It was quite amusing as he was looking at me with pity and Disgust in his eyes.
"Don't look down on me just because I'm a human ya dumbass"
I said before I retreated back down the Stage.
[Winner - Ron Kayler]
And so I'd won my first match and had more liberty to lose the 2nd one.
But, I was contemplating over if I should use My abilities on the 2nd Ranked one or the 1st ranked one.
But, honestly the 1st ranked one was more of an easy opponent.
Because, it Might not work against The 2nd rank because he too probably had an agility Stat over D7.
It'd be a pain to deal with him, but it cannot be the same for the 1st rank because he's weak against physical stats.
Even if he was strong, he probably wouldn't have a stat that was above D7.
While if I used My skills I'd be at D6, might even go past D6 if I'm lucky.
