Tiara's POV

When that bulky man pulled my hair, it hurt like a bitch. I scratched his forearm with my nails, drawing blood. While cursing me, he got away from me. I took that chance, got up, and kicked him where the sun doesn't shine. He fell to the floor, placing a hand where it hurt while cursing me. Again, I started to kick him continuously. "Who the heck do you think is calling me a bitch? Do you think I'm a weak girl who won't fight when you harass me, you bastard?" With that, I was kicking him nonstop.

"You bitch, better pray for God to save you..." As he was about to say something.

Suddenly, two masculine hands grabbed me from behind. He took me away from that bulky bastard. I struggled to break free from his hand and tried to scratch him too, but he locked both my hands behind my back with one hand, which made me feel intense pain because of my already hurt elbow. He gripped my neck with another hand and started to choke me. Suddenly, I felt it getting hard to breathe.

"Stay still, little girl, stop struggling if you don't want me to choke you to death," he said in his deep voice. He was so close to me when he warned in my ear. His breath fanned on my ear, making me feel something weird in my stomach.

All my struggles died when he put a little force on my neck. "That's like a good girl," he said, which made me feel weird again.

"Now, since you're already a good girl, tell me why in the world you are hiding in this cabin and eavesdropping on us," he asked me softly.

"I wasn't eavesdropping on your conversation; it's just that I accidentally heard it," I said in my cracked voice.

"Oh, cut the crap, little girl. Who are you? Who sent you here? Tell me everything," he screamed at me.

"No one sent me here; I came here on my own. Please believe me and let me go," I pleaded. The next moment, I felt my oxygen getting cut when he applied force. I started to struggle in his arms to breathe.

"Why the hell are you lying? Do you want to die?" he said in a dangerous voice. "I'm not lying, please let me go," I started to cry.

"Your crocodile tears won't work on me. Tell me what you heard," he asked. "And I want only the truth," he emphasized. As I didn't respond to him, he tightened his grip.

Suddenly, I started to struggle as I thought I am going to die. I nodded my head in agreement. He loosened his grip but didn't let me go. I started to cough vigorously and inhaled oxygen greedily.

"Speak," he said loudly, which startled me.

"Please, please, I'll tell you everything, please don't hurt me," I said. Tears were rolling down from my eyes. "It's just that I study in the front college. Some girls were bullying me, and today all seven girls are after me. When I heard about it, I got scared and ran away from college to this building," I explained.

"I don't know where I am, but there were still 2 hours left for classes to end, so that's why I stayed here. But I didn't touch anything. As I was about to go out, I heard footsteps approaching. I got panicked, thinking those girls had arrived. I hid myself in this cabinet, but it wasn't those girls; it was you people who entered the lab," I continued. "Believe me, no one sent me here; I was just scared of those girls, so I ended up hiding here. I have no evil intentions; please let me go," I pleaded with him.

"Do you want me to trust you? Okay, leave aside what you heard when we were talking," he inquired.

"I heard alpha, beta, gamma, omega," I said, telling the truth.

"What else?" he questioned again.

"Nothing," I replied.

"What do you think we were talking about?" he inquired.

"I think you were talking about mathematics and science, which have alpha, beta, gamma, omega," I explained. I saw him hiding his smile when he heard what I said. 'Why in the world is he smiling? Am I joking?' I thought in my mind.

"Why do you think we made him kneel here?" he asked me, wanting to know what I thought about this situation.

"I think he made a mistake in solving problems or something, that's why you were scolding him. But you didn't have to make him kneel just because of it," I blurted out.

"Mind your tongue, girl," he said, glaring at me. I kept silent. "And what do you think about the one who is on the floor?" he asked me.

"He doesn't look like a student or a lecturer, but this man is a big asshole. He tried to harm me when I had not done anything to him," I replied. 'What a bastard, pulling my hair so harshly; it still stings,' my inner self said.

"So, you want me to believe all your nonsense, huh? What do you take me for, a fool?" he raised one eyebrow.

"Believe me, I'm telling you the truth. I am not a threat to you. Why are you behaving like I heard your secret?" I spoke the truth. 'I mean, what the hell does he want to know from me?' I thought in my mind.

"So, you don't feel anything odd here. Tell me, you said seven girls are bullying you, right? Who are they? Tell me their names," he demanded.

"Oh, it's Ashley and her minions. I don't know those girls' names, but I know Ashley. Do you know them?" I replied to him and also questioned him.

"Yes, I know them. Why is she bullying you?" He asked, and this time he looked serious.

"Oh, it's because of my background. I'm poor, and I'm studying here on a scholarship," I said with a sad face. 'It's not good to judge anyone by their background.' Suddenly, I felt sad.

Suddenly, I felt his grip tightening on my neck. "Don't ignore me, little girl," he gritted his teeth.

"I'm sorry, please, let go," I cried. He loosened his grip.

"Although what you said makes sense, that doesn't explain that you are speaking the truth. And I don't believe in a scheming and fierce girl like you, who tackled one of my men to the ground," he said darkly.

"But he hurt me first. I'm telling you the truth, please let me go. I won't ever appear in front of you. I beg you, please," I cried hard.

"Now it's time for a real punishment, little girl. So get ready," when I heard him, a shiver ran down my spine. I suddenly felt chills.
