We've sorted out the mansion. It took about 6 weeks to install 3 bathrooms and plumbing leading far outside to the newly dug out septic tank.
We got the running water installed too. The tank is on the roof out of sight. It uses magic to generate water that flows directly into the tank. we pay the Wizards extra in the evenings to fill the magic 'batteries' with their reserve magic that they have left after the day's work.
It's a really, the magic 'wiring' I guess you can call it disconnects automatically when the Tank is full. Kind of like toilets back on earth.
We barely started work on the underground laboratory, when Felmina came by to fetch me one day.
If she can't solve this on her own it must be serious.
We go home, Roka's still on site with the guys. Felmina sits, I join her.
"Dearest husband. You made us promise to tell you if anything seemed off."
"What is it?"
"4 weeks ago the Masters corporation set up shop in our town. They are a general store. The manager there is called David Karkovsky. 3 weeks ago, this stated showing up in town."
She hands me a bag of green powder, it's about a 5 grams.
"Continue."
"This substance temporarily boosts your magic capabilities, there are no negative effects at first, as long as you keep taking it. It's mixed with MP potions, which turns the potion green, then it's consumed. If you stop using it your mana keeps draining. It drains faster the longer you've been using this drug. This has done quite the number on the east empire already. According to reports I asked for from the Shadowfall Kingdom on the East Empire, the users who quit cold turkey in time can be treated using MP infusion while they sleep and MP potions during the day. But left untreated it can cause MP drain. We believe the Masters Corporation is directly involved, however we have no proof. It's just that they carry the most potent MP Potions on the market. They also have exclusive contracts in place with hospitals throughout the East Empire for, you guessed it, MP potions for treatment."
"Yes, This can't be a coincidence"
She nods.
"What should we do, we can't officially confront them without evidence"
I think for a bit.
These guys probably want to start a drug epidemic here then sell the government which in this case is us, the cure. The question is what I should do. I don't know.
Should I destroy them by force?
"I need to think Felmina, I'll let you know when I have something."
I get up and leave.
Later that day
I've been sitting at my desk in front of my diary reading it again to calm myself, and to think ofcourse.
I think I'll let Felmina know, I'm going to go and unofficially warn this David guy to get out. If he won't listen I'll have to kill him. But isn't he supported by a large corporation. Won't they retaliate.
Enough of this, they are putting me my wives and the people of this town in danger, I guess I'll be extra convincing. I crack my knuckles as I get up.
A yellow folder blinks into existence in mid air in the center of my desk, then falls.
What the hell!? I stand there stunned for a bit. I poke at it with a pen. It doesn't seem to be dangerous. I open it and there's a single page inside. I check the bottom first it says 'by Management'.
Who the hell is management.
I sit down and start to read the letter

To Sir Hero Kaijuu Ryu-sama
Before we start we need to get some admin out of the way first.
We sincerely apologize for being the cause of this, but we need you to follow these instructions to the letter.
1. Under no curcumstances panic there's plenty of time.
2. Keep reading until you see 'XXXXXXXXX' again.
3. Your wife Roka is about to have an accident.
4. Sit down, her life will be saved. We will explain all this later in the letter.
5. Knock on the desk 4 times, when you do a syringe with the antidote will appear.
6. Felmina will come bursting through the door in about 5 minutes time, informing you of said accident.
7. Do not panic, simply take the syringe with you and inject it in her neck and she will be fine.
8. Stop reading, and wait 5 minutes before you knock on the desk.
9. When you reach 5 minutes, knock as instructed. You need to send us the que for the antidote to appear.
10. Start counting.

I start counting. I got the feeling I shouldn't ignore this. I use my fingers to keep track of every ten seconds in my left hand, and every minute in my right.
I reach 5 minutes.
I knock 4 Times.
The syringe with glowing purple liquid appears. it has a cap on the needle.
A few seconds later.
Felmina bursts through the door.
"It's Roka, she's hurt, come on"
I get up, grab the syringe and put it in my pocket. I follow her.
My mind is blank, I can't even think.
We reach Roka, she's on the bed in the infirmary.
I turn to Felmina.
"What happened?"
"There was a sink hole at the dig site for your lab, Roka fell. When we got her out of there she had been stung multiple times by something, it left these purple marks."
She opens the covers to show me. She was bitten or stung or whatever over her arms, neck, chest and stomach. All of the places that her skin was exposed.
"I need the room! Felmina you stay."
The nurses and doctor leave. They close the door.
"What are you?"
I hug Felmina.
"I've got this, don't worry."
I let her go.
"Trust me"
She nods.
I turn to Roka, I take out the syringe and I do as instructed. Her tense face seems to relax as soon as I finish injecting it. But the marks remain.
"I need to go, everything's gonna be fine, I'll explain later. You stay with her. DO NOT LET ANYBODY TOUCH HER UNDERSTAND."
She nods. I kiss her and leave.
I get back to my desk as quickly as I can without running. I pick up the letter. and continue

First of all your wife will wake up tomorrow morning with no risidual effects.
You where going to do so anyways, but pour concrete into that sinkhole. It is dangerous otherwise. The site for your new lab will be under the mansion, It is safe to dig for up to 3 stories there.
Now for your explanation. This letter appeared when you decided to confront David Karkovsky. When we sent you this letter we changed your path. We do sincerely apologize for Roka's injury. Here is what happened when we did not send the letter.
You went to look for Felmina and on the way you stopped by the worksite.
Roka came over when she spotted you. The sinkhole fell in. You managed to save the 2 men that fell in. They were not bitten. It seems the dark bees that stung Roka only targets the female gender. 2 days after that you decide to pour concrete into the sinkhole. Your new site was then decided to be underneath the mansion. You then finally had the time to confront The Masters Corporation.
You went to warn him, however he attacked you when he saw that you where only level 27. He is a Level 167. You where forced to kill him. This sucessfully removed the immediate threat from your lands.
However. The East Empire declared war on the Shadowfall kingdom shortly after. The Master's Corporation was directly involved. Both of your wives' lives where claimed via assasination during the conflict. You managed to survive. You went on a rampage. Using all of your LEVELUP healings before reaching the Mafia boss Nelson Masters. You killed him. We cannot go into detail at this time, but 4 Years after that. You destroy this whole world claiming the lives of everyone including yourself.
Thus we had no choice but to send this to stop those events from unfolding.
Here is what we need you to do to solve your Nelson Masters Problem.
1. Knock on you desk twice then clap your hands twice.

2 smooth orbs appear out of nowhere same as the folder and syringe, they about the size of my fist. One red one blue, also another yellow folder that says 'Script' in red letters printed across it.
I pick up the letter again.

2. Do it now.
3. The play you are to preform is in the Script folder.
4. Learn your lines, the lives of your 2 wives depend on it, as well as the shadowfall kingdom's people.
5. The Script will explain what will happen as well as what exactly to say, and when to say it.
6. You may deviate from it a little in order to get the desired result.
7. After you learned the script you will use the female bathroom door to give yourelf HP exceeding 14 000.
8. Level yourself up until you are Level 205. You will still have Levelups left since you are currently Level 387. At Level 205 your Max HP will be 7550.
9. We upgraded the door temporarily to give you -50 damage for each registered hit.
10. We turned on your damage notification display so you can keep count.
11. You can use the door's corner on your arms and legs instead of your face.
12. You need to make at least 129 succesfull hits on your body to get to 14 000 HP.
13. It's 14 000 HP for your own safety.
14. Do not go to sleep after the HP increase since it will reset, and you will need to start again.
15. Once your HP is 14 000, take both orbs. Put the blue one in your bag.
16. Hold the red one in your hand. The Keyword is "Shift X"
17. Once you say it you will be teleported into the office of Nelson Masters.
18. Do your lines as instucted. You will need to fight him.
19. You may not kill him. The world will still end if you do.
20. You will wear down his willingness to fight to such an extent that he gives up.
21. When you are done use the blue orb to return here. The Keyword is "Shift Y".
22. Destroy this document, we may contact you again if neccisary.
