Are You Telling Us To Go?

Gon now has a preliminary impression of his father's image based on how Ging is viewed in the Hunter Association and among other hunters. 

However, he doesn't elaborate much on the specifics, as he, being the son, feels it's not for him to judge his father.

This doesn't stop him, though, from wanting to meet Ging and connect with him personally to experience his own guess and have a direct conversation with his father. 

Thus, in this meeting room, these zodiacs paid no mind to what was being said about Ging. 

Instead, their curiosity seemed to be more focused on Gon's presence.

Their gaze lingered for just a moment on Gon, who had shrunk into his chair, planning to stay quiet without making any unwanted sounds. 

Afterward, they shifted their focus to the calm and composed Lan, who was sitting leisurely.

"We don't need any agents here." 

Botobai Gigante spoke on the side, and although his tone was blunt, his words were slightly more impartial.

"If Ging isn't here in person, then his position is vacant." Botobai Gigante continued, staring at Lan. "We don't know, nor will we accept, any talk of proxies."

"Either he shows up in person, or he doesn't show up at all."

"As for anything else..."

Botobai Gigante said solemnly: "It's not going to happen here."

His tone was resolute, and his attitude was clear. After speaking, the aura he released gradually spread around him.

Clearly, this member of the Zodiac Twelve, known for his straightforwardness and integrity, wasn't planning to entertain any more word games with Lan. 

Moreover, with such an important discussion about to begin, he wasn't going to waste time.

The other Zodiacs didn't understand what he meant, so they followed his gaze.

At that very moment, the door suddenly creaked open, and several figures walked in.

"Hohoho, looks like everyone is already here." 

Chairman Netero, wearing his wooden sandals, walked in with his hands behind his back, acting like a naughty kid with a smile on his face.

"This place is quite lively..." He glanced at Gon and Lan, then looked at Kanzai, who was clenching his fists, covered with an aura.

"What's this? Are you all planning to welcome this old man by fighting?"

He shook his head as if lamenting: "They say when someone leaves, the tea cools. I haven't even left yet, and the Zodiacs I personally raised are starting to turn against me. That's really disheartening..."

After saying this, he mockingly wiped a fake tear from the corner of his eye.

Kanzai: "..."

The other Zodiacs also stood up, greeting Chairman Netero.

At that moment, Pariston walked in behind Netero, smiling as usual, with Mr. Beans right beside him, looking miserable.

From the way they entered, one could almost mistake Mr. Bean for Pariston's secretary.

"And you walked in behind the Chairman! This is utterly disrespectful!"

Kanzai shouted, while Pariston, like Lan earlier, seemed completely unaffected. He casually sat down in his seat.

Pariston said with a smile. "Chairman Netero is about to resign, and he is going through the formal process of stepping down from the Hunter Association."

"So strictly speaking, he is no longer the Chairman."
