Magnus

I paced back and forth in my quarters as I tried desperately to make up my mind on what to do about the leadership of the pack during my absence.

A soft knock rang out in the room and I moved to throw the door open.

"Everything's all ready," Cayon stated as he walked in after me.

"Well not quite," I replied, crossing my arms over my chest as I whirled around. "I still haven't figured out what to do about the pack, I can't just leave them like that since you are coming with me."

"We can just let the council handle things…"

I gave him a pointed look and he immediately pressed his lips together.

"I'm not giving them the reins to plot my downfall," I stated. "They are all still on punishment for their traitorous plans."

He nodded thoughtfully. "What if we just leave? They can take care of themselves for a few days."
