"Who would dare do that?" Zephyris asked, his voice as sharp as ice. The temperature of the room dropped to zero.

Who could have infiltrated his palace, except for spies that he didn't know about?

Basically, he knew almost all the spies that were sent after him and who they worked for, but he had not acted because they weren't a threat to him. But now that Owen was with him…

The best thing to do was to wipe them off the surface of the earth. "Zephyris," Owen called softly.

Zephyris turned and glanced at the scary cat behind him. 'Wasn't he behaving boldly before?'

"It's okay, just stay in the room," he said, his voice warm. He then turned to the guard. "Protect him. If a single hair is missed, that's the end of your family line," Zephyris ordered coldly before leaving with Malcom.

"Your Highness, please take a seat. I shall guard the room," the young guard's voice begged.

Owen did as he was told, shivering a little. 'Indigo, this just proves my mission starts now.'

"Indeed, the next mission, I hope we get to be in control. So now, all that's left is to make this great husband of yours fall in love with you," she smirked, looking at Owen.

"I guess you can't do that. Don't worry, I'm sure you will give your best. It's just you taming him," Indigo stated.

'I… I got that.'

BOM!!!

"Your Highness, whatever you do, please hide yourself," the young guard said before a huge, tall, fat guy came into the room.

"Master, I've found him!" the fat man shouted, scaring Owen and the young guard, who positioned himself to attack. Just then, four more masked men appeared, gripping tightly to their blades.

Then a tall man who was the same size as Zephyris appeared with a smirk on his face. "Wonderful, that bastard always has a good eye. Look at how beautiful you are."

Owen looked at the man, confused as he didn't understand what the man was saying, but he knew the man was referring to him. The man had a mask on his face too, with long black hair just like Zephyris's.

"Owen, isn't that your name?" he asked, smiling, which no one knew due to the mask. Owen only stared as he didn't know what to do. 'Fairy, does this look like a good time to escape?'

"Hehehehe, I don't know, it seems we are on our own since this little young guard of ours has no chance of winning," Indigo commented.

Owen sighed, glancing at the masked man and then to his guard. 'If I refuse to follow them, they will surely threaten me with his life.'

"I guess you are here for me?" he asked.

The masked man smirked, "Brilliant! You are smart, not like what the rumors say. Interesting." He said, licking his lips. "Indeed, it is you I want. If you want this young guard of yours to still be alive, you just have to come to me," he added, grinning.

Nodding his head, Owen moved forward towards the young guard who was protecting him and tapped his shoulder. "It's okay, I'll just go with them," Owen said, shivering. He was scared, but at the same time, this was the best if he really wanted to make it out of here without anyone getting hurt. At least, this little guard will inform the king that he was missing, and things might go smoothly, he thought.

The guard understood what Owen was trying to do and just nodded his head. While Owen walked towards the masked man, 'Why am I encountering masked men a lot? First, it was Zephyris, then this dude in front of me. Now who would be next?' he asked himself.

The masked man grabbed Owen's left hand tightly as he drew him to himself. Owen tried to get away from him, but the man's grip got stronger, and he stopped trying to get away and just relaxed. "Fighting won't help you, you should know that by now, Prince Owen," the masked man whispered into Owen's ear.

Then he turned to his men, signaling them. One of them came with a piece of cloth bag and immediately covered Owen's head. And they left as they appeared.

Meanwhile, Zephyris shot Malcom a dangerous look. "I hope this isn't one of your games, Malcom," Zephyris growled.

"You know me too well, I can't do that," he replied, smiling at Zephyris, who gave him a deadly stare.

"Then who would dare to attack my palace?" Zephyris asked, not happy where this was leading. Yeah, he might have a calm face, but inside, he was beating insanely, which surprised him nonstop.

"Only someone who knows exactly what they want," Malcom said. "And if I had to guess, they're not here for the castle, they're here for one of us."

Just then, a group of masked men, clad in dark armor, interrupted them. Just then, a figure who seemed to be the leader appeared. "Zephyris," the figure called out, his voice echoing ominously through the hall. "It's been a long time."

Zephyris's jaw clenched, his eyes narrowing in recognition. "What are you doing?" he demanded.

The figure chuckled, a sound that sent shivers down the guards' spines. "I've come to collect what's mine," he said, smiling. "But it looks like I have already collected it," the figure smirked and laughed.

Zephyris's hand clenched, 'Owen!' he mentally screamed, and turned backwards.

"Yes, you know what I'm talking about," the figure smiled.

"You wouldn't dare?" Zephyris asked, clearly giving the masked figure in front of him a deadly stare.

"I just did," the figure said, grinning hard, and silence followed. Zephyris froze.

"Who are you?" Malcom asked as he sneakily walked, trying to catch the masked figure off guard.

"There isn't any need for you to come after me nor ask who I am," he stated. "Just go back and warm His Highness's bed, General Malcom," the figure added, before disappearing into thin air, leaving Zephyris deep in thought.

"Prepare THE VEIL GUARD right now!" Zephyris commanded, screaming like a madman. "No one has the right to take my toy. No one!"
