Mr. Aizawa reached into the drawer below and took out a clipboard with a sheet attached to it, then he started to call out names.
I didn't answer until he called mine, dully announcing mine, trying not to get noticed by anyone, but by how I just did, it probably failed.
I only felt a few looks in my direction, which was a good yet a bad thing to begin with.
"Well, since that's settled, let's begin with class."
Mr. Aizawa yawned as he turned towards the board with a look of disinterest. He started to draw a diagram, a large circle at the top, with multiple lines extending from the bottom of the circle, the end of the lines touching the top of more circles drawn at the end of lines.
In the large circle, he wrote down a word in large words; "HEROICS". Turning back to the class, he opened his mouth and asked:
"What do you think are the biggest aspects of heroics?"
The class fell silent for a few seconds, only the generator in the back of the room could be heard, but it was quickly broken when a brown haired girl spoke up.
"Determination."
Mr. Aizawa nodded, writing the word down inside one of the lower circles, he then spoke up again.
"Anything else?"
The silence was only a good 2 seconds long before another person spoke up, this time a boy with red hair.
"Bravery."
He nodded again, writing down the word inside another circle, then he turned back to the class once again, this time no silence fell as a hand immediately shot up.
"Resilience."
Mr. Aizawa nodded once again, writing the last word inside the bubble. Turning back to the class, he then spoke up once more.
"The words that you've chosen are quite clear towards the word of heroics. Now, just because you don't have quirks doesn't mean that these words serve no purpose, for these can be implanted into your everyday lives."
He said that while pacing back and forth, the quiet slapping of his boots sent small echoes through the old room.
As the class went on, it felt like time had now completely stopped at this point, that's because all the boring yapping can get to your head.
In order to pass the time in some way, my hand raised slowly. Mr. Aizawa's eyebrows raised as he nodded.
"Yes?"
I silently gulped.
"May I use the bathroom, sir?"
Mr. Aizawa fell silent for a few seconds, before he finally answered in a way that matched his status.
"Yes, you may use the bathroom...just don't take too long or I'll assign you extra homework."
Upon the brief mention of homework, the class let out a singular groan.
"Homework on the first day, he's nuts."
"Really?"
Those were the tiny murmurs I heard as I left the room. I walked up the flight of stairs leading back up towards the main part of U.A. I squinted my eyes upon them being immediately faced with the bright overhead lights, compared to the rather dim ones of the basement.
I proceeded down the hallway somewhat slowly, taking my time to look around the building as I searched for any bathroom in general.
The school was quite large to say the least, with the ceiling being over 10 feet over my head, the hallway being about 8 foot in width, it really was meant to fit just about everyone here, maybe even more.
Eventually, I did find a bathroom. I walked into it before taking a seat. I pulled out my phone to check the time, the digital clock near the top of the screen read 10:48, and class begun at 10:15, meaning that only 33 minutes have passed, and I only have 27 minutes until the class ends, and I'll be dismissed.
I shut off my phone before putting it back into my backpack, but felt my blood run cold when I heard a pair of footsteps slowly enter the bathroom. I heard the sink turn on, followed by indistinct splashing sounds also coming from the sink.
I peeked through the tiny slit where the door wasn't entirely sealed, but it was locked so it wasn't exposing anything majorly inappropriate.
The person in the bathroom was the same indigo haired student from before, who didn't even notice me from before, he just splashed water on his face, his uniform was drenched in sweat.
"Why's the general studies classroom gotta be so damn hot?"
I heard him grumble as he refreshed himself. He turned off the sink before wiping his face off with some paper towels.
It looked like he was about to leave, but that's when I heard a few knocks at my bathroom stall.
