Chapter 13

I awoke again, this time sitting on the park bench next to Shinso, who looked at me with a humorous gaze.

"Morning idiot."

He chuckled, pulling out his phone, revealing to me that he took a few photos of me asleep, a few had funny filters on them like a cat, a dog or some other stuff.

"How long was I asleep for?"

I groggily asked, rubbing my eyes while looking at him. Shinso looked towards me and looked back at his phone, the clock read 1:27, meaning it's been about 4 hours since we left about 9:00 to get coffee.

"I just had the weirdest dream."

I croaked, stretching on the wooden bench, the shape of it hurt my behind but I couldn't care less. Shinso perked up with interest as he asked.

"What was it about, you're lucky to have explainable dreams, mine are all nonsense."

Shinso chucked as a few cherry blossoms fell from the trees above, dabbing his indigo hair with small pink flowers. I didn't answer, only looking at my phone screen for a few seconds before looking back to Shinso.

"It's hard to explain."

Shinso only grew more curious as I answered in such a way, leaning closer in an almost teasing way.

"Was it about me?"

He joked, his eyes narrowing playfully as he ruffled my hair. I didn't reply, only brushing off the question, watching a squirrel rush up a tree before vanishing into a cloud of green leaves.

"No, it wasn't."

Shinso only mumbled before leaning back to his spot, stretching his arms and reaching to grab my shoulder, pulling me closer to him.

"What are you doing?"

I asked, my face erupting with blush as I looked towards Shinso with a gaze filled with puzzlement, and a little dab of fluster.

"Nothing, maybe I want you closer to me."

He replied, his voice softer than usual. His face had an expression that was almost unreadable, one which said to me that he wanted to do something to me.

"Really, what are you doing, you're never this...touchy."

Shinso just chuckled, sinking into me a little, his soft breath gacing my cheek, making me shiver a little.

"Maybe...this."

Shinso cupped my shin with his hand as his head grew closer to mine, until our lips collided suddenly, my eyes widened as rush of sick pleasure coursed through my body like a dense electric shock, but I enjoyed every moment of it, I leaned in closer to him, wrapping my arms around his body like a hug as he leaned back into the bench, our bodies shifting together like one singular entity, our lips only going deeper, exploring each-others mouths.

When our lips finally let go, I looked into his eyes with a look of gratitude and fortune, thankful that this thing happened, no matter how fast it seemed to go by or how sudden it was, I was only thankful that I kissed someone for the first time.

It was like for a moment I completely forgot about the dream I had, ripping it from my mind and throwing it into the garbage.

"What was that?"

I asked him, my voice low and husky all the sudden. Shinso didn't take long to reply.

"Maybe...I want us to take this to the next level."

He answered, wiping away the sudden sweat that washed over his body from such an intimate action. Leaning back, he then continued to speak.

"In a way, we're both in the loss, I've been talked down upon for my abilities, while you have none to begin with, the second I saw you, I felt a sudden connection with you, like 2 stars have collided and gave birth to a new galaxy, a new chance to say the least."

He chuckled softly before looking back at me.

"And I hope we continue to be losers together, shall we?"

I was taken aback by he just said, but also so mesmerized by that word play.

"You're so good with words."

I complimented him, scooting a little closer before looking him in the eyes.

"How about we go back to your dorm, it's getting colder out here, isn't it?"

Shinso nodded simply before he stood up with me, then I felt my hand being grasped by his, and his hand being wrapped around mine, which was a comforting feeling for some reason.

"Let's go, I guess."

Shinso murmured under his breath as he started to walk.
