Me and Shinso arrived on the sketchy street that I previously found Aaron living on, and as expected it was almost completely deserted besides a few stray cats here and there, which I could tell Shinso was dying to pet.
"The house is a little down this way."
I led him down the street until we arrived at the house. I approached the house before knocking on its front door, but unlike last time, Aaron opened the door almost instantly.
"What are you doing here?"
"It's hard to explain."
I didn't say anything else as I walked into the house and sat on the sofa with Shinso, who was confused about the quality difference as I could tell by the look on his face.
"Where's Oboro?"
Aaron asked, sitting on the same couch he sat down on last time, looking at the 2 of us. I gulped.
"Well, he was shot by a suspect the police are still after."
Aaron's eyes widened as he almost dropped his tray of food.
"Nullification bullets."
I heard him murmur under his breath, I leaned in closer and narrowed my eyes.
"Nullification bullets?"
Aaron nodded, opening the drawer in front of him and pulling out a small tin canister, before opening the lid and taking out a small metal bullet, which had strange symbols inscribed on it.
"Yes, these bullets are fabricated to bypass Routeway Seekers abilities, but I don't know how whoever shot him got their hands on them."
He then fell silent, staring into the bullet as if mesmerized by the symbols inscribed on it, but was quickly snapped out by Shinso.
"My friend came to you for a reason, so you think you could help us by any chance?"
Aaron sat there for a few seconds, putting the bullet back into the canister and back into the drawer.
"I believe I can, I have ties with the Silencers, they deal with this kind of thing."
"The silencers?"
I asked.
"Yes, the secret police organization that deals with the mystical type of cases, this case you proposed was originally gonna be sent to the regular police, but the involvement of those bullets must bring it to The Silencers."
Aaron then stood up with a stretch before walking over to a wooden door with strange patterns in the corner of his living room, he pressed his hand into it and mumbled something in a different language.
The patterns on the door started to glow a bright green, before a clicking sound was heard and the door opened on its own.
"Follow me."
Aaron turned towards us and beckoned us with his finger. We had no choice but to follow him, but my mind instantly was dragged to the fact that I didn't get the control serum Aizawa requested I get.
"Aaron?"
He turned around to face me and raised an eyebrow, closing the door behind him.
"Yeah?"
"Do you have any control serum?"
He paused for a few seconds, before reaching his hands out, an illusory sphere of green energy formed in his palm, glowing with a radiant yet ominous light.
"I'll make one."
The ball of green light then started to rotate, quicker and quicker the more Aaron held it, the strange voices returned to my mind as my veins glowed orange once again.
"What the?"
Shinso turned to look at me, his face riddled with concern, I turned to look at him and smiled weakly.
"T-this happens all the time."
Shinso huffed as he turned to look back at Aaron, who was still holding the rotating ball of energy. Shinso tapped his foot on the floor impatiently.
"How long will this take?"
Before Aaron could answer, strange, illusory tentacles protruded from the ball, wrapping around it until it was completely layered in those slimy appendages.
Aaron murmured a prayer under his breath before the ball exploded in a loud manner, and our faces were instantly blinded by the radiant green light.
When the light subsided the potion of green liquid was in his hands, before he handed it to me.
"Drink kid, we got a lot to get done."
