We walked further down the hallway until a stone wall greeted us at the end of it. In the dim torch light I saw Aaron take out a small bottle, before opening the lid and sprinkling a small amount onto the floor.
"What's that stuff?"
Shinso asked, crossing his arms and leaning against the wall. Aaron didn't reply, he only drew a circle inside the scattered dust, and mumbled something.
Suddenly the dust started to glow, and Aaron waved his hand, directing the dust towards the wall, chipping away at the stone surface until a lever appeared through the wall.
Aaron pulled the lever and the wall started to move, above us I could hear gears grinding and machines huffing and puffing, when the wall fully moved out of the way, we were greeted by a large, dark room with shelves, bottles, maps, and multiple books and papers scattered all over.
"Welcome my friends, to the Silencer's headquarters."
Aaron said as he walked into the room, pulling out a chair from under the desk before grabbing a cluster of papers regarding god knows what type of research.
"Isaac, can I speak with you?"
Shinso whispered to me, beckoning me into the corner of the room. I nodded before following him there, he put his hand on my shoulder before sighing.
"Why were you glowing, and why did Officer Palau give you that potion earlier?"
My eyes widened, I don't remember if Oboro said I shouldn't tell anyone regarding the situation with the potion, but since he was my "boyfriend," I figured I shouldn't hide this stuff from him, I then sighed.
"I drank a Routeway potion last night, and heard voices. That potion he gave me helps me with that."
Shinso's eyes widened.
"So that's why he sent us off to get ingredients for a "control serum."
He let go of my shoulder before crossing his arms, taking a few steps back.
"Well, Mr. Aaron brought us to this headquarters, so I suppose we're playing in this case because we were close to Oboro?"
I nodded.
"Also since Seekers are mostly involved amongst this origination, once I drank that potion I became a seeker myself."
Shinso then asked me another question.
"Why did you drink that potion to begin with, did you know the consequences?"
I awkwardly chuckled, nodding "no."
"It was only today when I learned about the overall effects of drinking it."
After hearing this, Shinso then huffed in annoyance.
"Well then, I hope you don't go insane or something."
He walked away and sat at the table next to Aaron, who was shuffling through some papers, he then looked up at Shinso.
"Our other comrades will be here in a while."
The room was then just filled with Aaron's tiny mumbling as he shuffled through his papers, files and folders regarding past cases with nullification bullets.
A door then opened again, this time on the other side of the room, Aizawa and Officer Palau then walked in, followed by about 5 other members of this organization.
"Greetings, Officer Palau."
Aaron looked up and Officer Palau tipped his hat at the latter, before nodding and sitting down, grabbing a few files.
"Mr. Aizawa?"
Shinso's eyes raised, walking over to him. Aizawa simply nodded slowly before speaking.
"Apparently Officer Palau works in this organization too, who's your friend"
He looked past Shinso and towards Aaron, who looked back at him and narrowed his eyes. To break the tension I spoke up.
"He's a friend of Oboro, and also a member of this organization."
Aizawa then pressed us with another question.
"Why are you guys here to begin with?"
"Well, since we're "acquaintances" with Oboro, they need proper suspects and overall help with this case."
Aizawa nodded, sitting down at the table with Officer Palau and Aaron, folding his hands.
"So, what's the first order of business?"
