Ezekiel scrutinized the system text for a couple seconds that felt like hours as his brain went into overdrive, utilising [Compound Mind] to the fullest in that span of time.

But after a while stuck in his thoughts he finally sighed, breathing in and decided to move on.

He would closely watch the system from now on, see whether his assumptions were true and if they were then of what to do after.

So with a mental tug once more he accessed the last page of his status, curious to see whether it would be a new addition or an upgrade from his other system functions.

—[5/5]—

—[Cursed Quest's]—

—[Available Quest's]—

—The Commander's Fall.[Difficulty— Hard.]

—Clarke's Sorrow.[Difficulty— Medium.]

—Raven's Retribution.[Difficulty— Easy.]

—[—]—

Ezekiel stared dumbfounded at the page, his modd souring even further.

He thought that he had obtained a new feature of his status function but no, it was just another one of the curses taint in his system.

Looking at the 3 available quest's he felt like punching the screen, already he could guess what they were about.

Especially since it included three woman he knew of, the commander— Lexa and his fellow 100 member's, Clarke and Raven.

He clicked off that page immediately, he would see what the quests were after he dealt with everything else.

So breathing in and bringing up his [Menu] to see whether a function was deleted or not just to be safe.

[—Menu—]

—Status.

—Quests.

—Inventory.

—Map.

—Gacha Wheel.

—[-]—

The [Skill] and [Ability] functions had been removed from the [Menu] and added to the Status function so he wasn't surprised when he didn't see them in the screen.

Taking a few moments to check each other function, Ezekiel found that each seemed to have gotten a design update especially his Map system.

But other than that, only his inventory was of note.

—[Inventory]—

—Blackened Symphonite Longsword[SS-]X10

—Vital-Soul Fruit[SS-]

—Hashirama Blood Cells[S+]

—Blood Spirit Core Pill[B+]

—Unfinished Lizard Serum[B-]

—Skill Evolution Token[S+]

—A Kings Crown[S+][Job Item]

—The Essence Grimoire[Skill Book][SS-]

—[—]—

He stared at the display of items in contemplation, he wondered whether he should use the 'Job' item now or wait.

But after further consideration he decided to use them later, for now he'd handle the noise outside, so with one last glance at items he had and making a note to review them again, he stood.

Looking around himself and finding nothing else of noteworthy, except his ruined cabin, he then walked up to the door and with a mental tug he watched in fascination as the 'Mana' as he would now call the energy ever present around him latch on to the vines covering his door.

As that happened he watched even more curious as a connection to the vines was achieved before they fluidly latched off the door, he had just been about to study that even more when he heard the conversation just outside.

" Wrong answer big brother."

Ezekiel caught on to the last remnants of a conversation, hearing who he knew to be Octavia unsheathe her sword before squaring up to her brother.

He frowned wondering how this came to pass, he didn't think that Octavia would ever bare a weopon towards her brother without good reason or at all for that matter.

" Hold on! Wait! Octavia!" More shouts came from the others as they were about to react, but taking that as a sign, Ezekiel with another tug manipulated the vines off the door from outside.

This seemed to have garnered everyone that was outsides attention as even Octavia stopped to stare at the door.

So opening the door I looked at the crowd and beyond them, looking at the entirety of the camp and people in a new light.

" What's happening here?" Ezekiel asked, ignoring the vibrant elation that the world hummed with mana with.

His gaze fell onto Octavia who still had her sword out and pointing at Bellamy, but immediately as she heard and saw me she let the sword go and bolted straight to my chest.

" Ooof!" Ezekiel grunted holding himself from skidding backwards from the girl in his chest, for a moment he hugged the girl before but after seeing that she was not willing to let him go anytime soon he slowly pulled himself away from her.

" Now, what the heck is happening here?!" Ezekiel's voice carried throughout the entire crowd as Octavia took a couple steps back staring at him with relief in her eyes.

" Uh..... Well to be honest, we were hoping you'd know, seeing as it happened in your cabin and all." Murphy said at the back of the main cast staring at the cabin.

" What are you talking about?" Ezekiel asked, playing the act up.

" He means that." Bellamy said pointing at the cabin while crouching, grabbing his sister's sword and returning it back, the subtle eye contact the two had did not go unnoticed alongside the hurt in Bellamy's eyes.

So acting oblivious while internally planning out how to do this, Ezekiel took a couple steps forward and then looked back at the cabin and feigned shock.

" By that expression I'm guessing you also don't know." Clarke said standing besides Raven.

" Maybe it's the grounder, an attack gone wrong or something?" Raven chimed in, sharing her own speculations.

Ezekiel watched seeing as they actually pondered on that thought.

" No." Ezekiel muttered while staring at his hands.

" What?" Bellamy asked, frowning as he stared at their leader in befuddled at his behaviour.

" It wasn't her..." Ezekiel said still staring at his hands, that small uncharacteristic action having garnered a bit of attention with worried looks being thrown around.

" I don't know Zek, this seems too much of a coincidence for us to dismiss it like that." Clarke said walking closer to Ezekiel.

" Yeah, she's a grounder for fuck sakes and we don't know everything that they can do." Bellamy nodded agreeing with Clarke.

" Yeah, Ezekiel, I should have listened and killed her when I had the chance..." Octavia chimed in, her voice tinged with guilt.

Ezekiel simply watched all this wishing he could scoff but held on to his persona.

" No, it wasn't her.." Ezekiel again said.

" How would you know, you were trapped in there after all." Jasper said from the crowd.

" Because I think I caused this." He replied, causing the others to pause and stare at him with varying amounts of incredulity.

" How?" Octavia asked, being the only one who believed him fully.

" I think....like this." Ezekiel said holding out his hand towards the cabin.

A second later everyone widened their eyes as the vines creaked against the wooden frames of the cabin, slowly but surely being pulled back into the ground.

Moments later and the cabin was flora infestation free, only with some slight damages from the vines encapsulating it.

The entire crowd stared, some had theirs jaws dropped while some looked on with their eyes widened and even some disbelieving as they rubbed their eyes.

Moments later and Murphy was the first to break out of his stupor and say something.

" What the fuck?" Murphy muttered, his eyes wide and jaw dropped as even the fruit he had in his hand was dropped to the ground.
