A new business

Laura knew she had to act fast. The debt collectors were closing in, and Mrs. White's anger was growing by the day. She needed a way to make money, and quickly. Mr white was just a blacksmith so making ends wasn't something easy and the fat that they even had bills to pay made him even more frustrated.

As she walked through the market, Laura noticed the flower vendors. She had an idea. She would sell flowers to make money for the debt.

Laura spent the morning gathering wildflowers from the nearby fields. She tied them into bouquets and set up a small stall at the market.

As the day wore on, Laura's hopes began to dwindle. She had sold only a few bouquets, and the sun was beginning to set.

Just as she was packing up to leave, a kind-eyed old man approached her. "You have a talent for this, young one," he said, purchasing her remaining bouquets. "Don't give up."

Laura smiled, feeling a glimmer of hope. Maybe, just maybe, she could make a difference.

She was humming and skidding as she was going home and noticed someone been dragged by thugs and she immediately turned back and started home As fast as possible.

As she walked home,Laura was panting heavily as she counted her earnings. It wasn't much, but it was a start. She knew she had to keep trying.

When she arrived home, Mrs. White was waiting for her. "Where have you been?" she demanded.

Laura stood tall, her heart pounding. "I went to sell flowers," she said. "I made a little money for the debt."

Mrs. White's expression softened ever so slightly. "Well, I suppose that's something."

Fella looked at her with a lazy eye and said "at least you beauty isn't in vain, he hissed

Mella and Bella just got back from classes

Mama I'm hungry, They said in unison...Mrs white sneered' and asked Laura to go prepare food for them.

The dinner was peaceful at least today now that she already started a new business.

She was sitting on the floor while eating and she looked at her calous hand that she developed for years. After her parents died she had been struggling with her new Auntie family.

Laura felt a small victory. She knew she still had a long way to go, but she was determined to make more money to help her family.

The night was peaceful and as well...after bathing outside the house, she wore her night wear and prepared her straw bed and prepared to sleep.

She was thinking of her parents and immediately brought the necklace that contains the pictures of her and her parent. She didn't want to lose it as that was the only memory that remained from her parent.

She Had tears In her eye as she was touching the necklace. After awhile she slept off preparing for the next day.
