Nova’s History Part 1

As Ina flipped through the book it told the story of Aeon and how she became the mother of time. The book says Aeons parents had found this Island by mistake and decided to make their home here, Building a small civilisation, creating the first ports and houses. The day Aeon was born A massive storm had enveloped the Island, but it didn't destroy anything which was strange. But it was clear she wasn't a normal baby, as her eyes glowed green the moment she opened them and her parents had brown eyes.

Thinking it had to do with the Island they tried to leave, but everytime they tried to bring Aeon on to the ship it was like a barrier prevented her from leaving. Frustrated her father couldn't bare to leave her and her mother couldn't bare to stay too frightened of what may happen to her future children. So they split up Aeon's mother was pregnant with her brother at the time she has never met him. Being raised by her father and the villagers made up of stranded sailors that washed up on the shore or people passing by and deciding to stay Aeon was happy.

Eventually as she grew older she learned she had the power to control time, as she worked to harness her power it grew,. She unlocked more abilities and started having visions, she predicted many things. But it started to scare some people, some went crazy others tried to kill her. Some thought she was a miracle and protected her, she realised if she said too much she could alter time in a bad way. So she stopped telling people anything and only said what she deemed was enough."hmmm" Ina hummed to herself "I don't think. I could fathom having any sort of ability like that. What a burden she carries."

Flipping through a few more pages she found a Family tree and it mentioned their abilities, "no wonder they hid this away. If anyone knew any of this they would be vulnerable." As she read on it said that some abilities have downfalls. "Why would you use them at all?" She wondered.

Aeon - Mother of Time,

Abilities- Freeze Time, Rewind/Fast Forward, Visions of the future, travelling into the past.

Misuse of this ability results in Aging a few years.

Ignatius - Pyrokinesis (Spousal Transfer)

Abilities- Ember lumen, Limited to his imagination

Overuse will cause your ability to burn you from the inside

Gale - Aerokinesis

Abilities: Air transmutation, hurricanes, tornadoes, cyclones, air blades, manipulate any form of air wether in living beings or trees. Overuse results in Loss of physical body for a period of time. Time increases with every offence.

Bonzai - Hydrokinesis

Abilities: Wade ripple, Tsunamis, Whirl pools, water blades, manipulate any form or water, wether it be from the air or in a living being.

Overuse of power can cause Extreme Dehydration.

Leora - Photokinesis

Abilities: Healing, giving life, light sabers, Sheilds, barriers, beams, illusions, apparatus manipulate any form of light.

Healing people near death results in Scars & possible Death

Arius - Death

Abilities: Manipulate darkness & souls. Shadow beings, apparatus.

Misuse results in losing a part of ones soul.

"Wow, so wha… what Leora did could've killed her" Ina says eyes widening in shock. Which is when a light at the entrance caught her eye. "Leora!" She exclaimed She threw lthe book in fright "I… I didn't me… mean to pry, I accidentally found this place" She turns to go get the book and places it back on the mantle. But when she see's Leora's deadly gaze she freezes. All Leora says is "wait for me Ina" which makes a shiver go down her spine. She gazes back at the book, "well if I am already in trouble, why not? You won't scare me Leora! I will find out everything about you and your family."

Ina snatches the book from the mantle and keeps reading she finds that Aeon had four children. Gale the oldest, Bonzai her second, then Leora and Arius. All had partners and children except Leora. Ina's heart skipped a beat at that, "maybe that's why she's an ass" Ina giggled at her own comment. She knew she found something when she read they did not know where their abilities came from, but they did know that tgere were only two ways to get an ability or power. That was to reproduce and through intimatcy. "That means their partners have abilities too?" She said out loud. So no one would know I was

It told a story of when Gale and Bonzai were young they were with other people before they got married, they were reckless and had relations with two people who then escaped the Island before anything could be done. The rest of it was ripped out. As for Arius he and his wife tried to leave eachother, but his mother wouldn't allow it.Since she gave him sons and because they couldn't allow another person to gain a gift.

Gale had four children, her eldest son Amell with super strength only problem is he is too strong destroys things by accident although he is a gentle cuddly teddy bear at times. Her second eldest Imala known for her telepathy can connect to anyones mind after she has touched you once. She wears gloves to prevent herself from connecting with just any one. Gales third child another Daughter Aspen with the ability to control all things earth. Trees, plants you name it. She's kind of a hippy. The youngest and most mischievous Hisoki with the power to teleport anything and anyone anywhere he's been. Their father Klaus a 6ft medium built bald man, inherited the ability to manipulate metal. He and Gale have been together eighteen years and married for ten.

Banzai has two kids his oldest Reign has ability of ice, not surprising since Bonzai controls water itself. We've had to train her to regulate her body heat no matter how cold it gets, sometimes the cold takes it's toll on her body and other times she becomes dehydrated. His son Barak, electricity. "Wow these gifts seem random." Ina says speaking to herself again. Barak and Bonzai clashed a lot, Barak short circuits his father's side of the island when he is upset. His power is very in then with his emotions. Bonzais wife Hysteria inherited the ability of echo, meaning she can duplicate any physical action she sees. They have been together fourteen years and married for two.

Arius has two sons, Jett got speed the downside to it is his metabolism the boy has to constantly eat and when he sleeps it can be an entire day. So Arius thinks it's a brilliant idea to train the kid after his breakfast. Poor kid has long naps after every session. His youngest Maverick is a shape shifter, the kid takes after Hisoki in terms of mischief, but can be aggressive like his father. At least every 12 months they travel to the next island over and watch their parents and aunt train together they almost destroy the island. Hence the every 12 months of training because the Island needs to recover.
