Clara, you are not our biological daughter.

"How dare you treat my daughter like this, you poor uncultured thing?" The woman pushed her out of the way, grabbing the girl's hand to check her injury.

"Mom, what did I do, and why are you calling this thing your daughter?" Clara, who was yet to understand the writing on the wall, asked her mom, earning another deadly glare, this time from her dad.

"I treat you like a princess even when I knew you were nothing near it, yet you treat my daughter like trash. After all my warnings, you still went ahead and bullied her. Do you think I will let you go scot-free for all this pain you inflicted on my daughter? Hell no!" The lady yelled at the top of her voice.

"Mom, I'm sorry. Please, can you just stop calling her your daughter? It's hurting me," Clara began tearing up.
