YOU BROUGHT THIS ON YOURSELF

Stephan's hands moved swiftly as he packed his belongings, he was getting discharged today and he had been told to rest very well at home.

He kept looking toward the door like he was expecting someone to come. When his mum gave this she also looked toward the door before she broke the silence.

"Do you have a guest?" she asked, her brow furrowed in curiosity. Stephan glanced at her and shook his head, his gaze now fixed on his luggage.

His mother's eyes narrowed, "Is it Julian?" she asked, trying to get words from him.

"Does he even care about you anymore?" The words stung, and Stephan's eyes flashed with defensiveness as he grasped his mother's shoulder.

"It wasn't Julian's fault, Mum," he explained, his voice firm. "I was the one who caused the fight. You have to understand that." His mother's expression softened.

"Yeah, and it's all because of the bitch which your stupid heart had fallen for." Stephan took a deep breath.
