Azrael’s gaze burned into Elysia, his lips curving into a wicked smile as he closed the distance between them. His fingers, firm but teasing, gripped her waist, pulling her against his body. 

“Do you know what happens to those who defy me, little pet?” His voice was low, dripping with dark amusement. He leaned down, his lips hovering just above hers, close enough for her to feel his breath but not close enough to touch. 

“They beg.”Elysia’s pulse quickened, her breath catching as her body betrayed the fear melting into something far more dangerous. Her lips parted, but no words came out. "You're mine, Elysia, I will burn the world for you." She heard him say in a low growl, making her legs tremble more.

The day finally came to an end, and the nobles departed, returning to their towns and kingdoms. Azrael and Elysia spent the evening expressing their gratitude to their guests for attending the wedding and coronation. By the time the last guest left, it was already 3 a.m.

"I am absolutely exhausted," Elysia sighed, drawing in a deep breath.

"It is over now, my love," Azrael reassured her with a gentle smile, placing a hand on the small of her back. "We shall return to our chambers soon, and you can finally rest."

"Yes, that is true. I cannot wait to get out of this dress," Elysia murmured, tucking a few loose strands of hair behind her ear. Her body ached from the weight of the gown and the exhaustion of the long day.
