Ch 37: The Fight to Prove Oneself 4

The knife in Charlotte's hand lunged toward Reynold's back, but Reynold, with extraordinary instincts, turned just in time. As Reynold raised his sword to block Charlotte's attack, the sound of metal scraping filled the air.

Ryan, who had already gotten back on his feet, saw this opportunity. He immediately ran toward Reynold, wanting to take advantage of Reynold's divided attention.

However, Reynold, who had a sharp sense in battle, noticed Ryan's movement. He pushed Charlotte away with sudden force and then quickly spun around, Reynold's sword slicing through the air toward Ryan.

But Ryan was not easily taken down. He quickly lowered his body, avoiding Reynold's attack by mere inches. Both of their breaths felt heavy now, but the battle was not over.

Reynold quickly jumped back, keeping his distance from Ryan. Reynold's movements were swift and measured, as if he knew that this fight was not yet finished. Ryan glanced at Charlotte, his face remained focused despite the clear flash of determination in his eyes.

"Charlotte." Ryan's voice broke the silence, remaining alert to every small movement from Reynold.

"Yes, Master?" Charlotte replied, her gaze locked on Ryan, although her body remained in a ready fighting position.

"It's time for us to do this." Ryan took a deep breath, his eyes staring deep into Charlotte's.

Charlotte looked very surprised.

"What? But Master... are you really sure?" Charlotte's tone shifted to one of concern, as if she felt there was a great risk behind Ryan's decision.

"It's okay. Even if we use our full power, my father won't die. You know this better than I do, right?" Ryan smiled slightly, his eyes still sharp and steady.

"...You're right." Charlotte paused for a moment, seeing the resolve on Ryan's face.

"Alright, Master. Let's do it!" Charlotte finally responded with a growing confidence within her.

With incredible speed, Charlotte jumped back, preparing for what was to come.

Ryan nodded briefly, then refocused on Reynold, who was now staring directly at him, reading the increasingly dire situation.

Then Ryan took a deep breath, channeling all the Mana Energy he had through his body. The training room, which had been calm, was suddenly filled with a cold wind that grew stronger.

"What's happening? Why is it suddenly so windy and cold?" Lyana, watching from the edge of the arena, asked in confusion while hugging herself, trying to fend off the sudden chill.

"Is it still cold, dear?" Leyfia quickly approached Lyana and gently placed her hand on Lyana's shoulder, activating a Skill to warm the temperature around them.

Lyana sighed in relief as the warm air enveloped her.

"Now it's much warmer. Thank you, Mom!" Lyana smiled at her mother, then turned to Ellina, who seemed unaffected by the temperature change, still calm and undisturbed. This made Lyana even more confused.

Ellina, without speaking, used her own power to keep her body warm, her gaze focused on the arena.

"Good." Leyfia nodded slightly, satisfied to see Lyana feeling better. Leyfia then redirected her attention back to the fight in front of them.

Ryan still stood with his eyes closed. The temperature in the training room continued to drop rapidly. The air grew heavier, and suddenly small snowflakes began to fall from the ceiling, gently floating among the spectators.

Lyana, who had initially been worried, now looked enchanted by the beauty of the falling snow.

"Wow!" Lyana exclaimed, her face shining with happiness as she watched the snow fall.

Meanwhile, Leyfia stared at this strange occurrence with a look of astonishment.

"This... is this Ryan's doing?" Leyfia murmured, as if she couldn't believe the power Ryan had just displayed.
